Yes, the final two models that I narrowed it down to were the BB8 and the BB0. I've played Cameron Newport 2s for several years and am comfortable with the head shape. At the end of the day, I liked the rounder edges of the BB0 and I was able to keep the BB0 more on line than the BB8 for some reason. I believe the neck on the BB0 is a little longer than the BB8 (or at least looks like it to my eye), which may be the reason it worked better for me.

I believe both. Most of what I tried where customs from The Hive and not current production models.

That was a great experience. My favorite Bettinardi is the Innova series. I would have loved to have had the opportunity to design and build one. Tinley Park...I worked 20 years for an electronics company once based there!

Head weight?

 

I haven't heard exact weight yet, but should be right around 355g. If I recall, their manufacturing tolerances for this head are 353-355.

Originally, I wanted to shorten the neck a little so that it would be closer to the length of the BB8 neck which was similar to my current putter. However, we were concerned the toe hang would be a little different than what was working during testing. At the end of the day its just aesthetics.

The neck didn't really change even though it is welded. Originally I wanted to shorten the length as the BB0 looked like a longer neck than the BB8, at least to my eye. I decided to stay with the BB0 neck length since it was working best for my stroke and the weld didn't actually change anything.

I received the putter earlier this week but haven't had a chance to get it out on the course or post pics. I'll try and get some up this weekend.
