"Bomb and gouge" is a myth and doesn't exist in reality. In reality, there are players who hit it long and straight, and they also tend to be the best players regardless of venue.

You have to be invited first, then I think the initial fee is $1,000,000. I would like to see a US Open played at a course that costs $30 to walk.

 

Bethpage black before the us open was there.

 

That would cost me $135 to $155 to play. There was talk about having a US Open at a Donald Ross gym here in Massachusetts, but the course needed a lot of work and it never came to pass. That course is $27 to walk. $17 if you are a senior.

 

Nope its 65$ and 40$ after 2

I know he didn't hit a great second shot at 18, but throughout the last 4 or 5 holes I never thought anyone but Koepka was going to win it. It was the same last year.

 

Quite anticlimactic but that's credit to Koepka. He's ice cold under pressure, knows how to win. Now he has more majors than the likes of Johnson, Day and Fowler. And he's only 28.

 

And built like a linebacker.

 

Lol...obviously those guys have never seen an NFL linebacker.
