I am a koepka fan, but i was surprised he was able to hang on for this win. I thought for sure he would falter coming down the stretch. He proved me wrong and I like him all the more for it. Rory has twice the talent and half the heart. Shows you what is more important. I know Rory has a better resume but he has not shown to have any resolve the last few years.

Tommy was awesome but he was freewheeling with nothng to lose. Patrick Reed is a legit contender. Dustin has gone back to old DJ, can win but probably won't. Brooks was special and if he can stay healthy can win a bunch of majors.

DJ still isn't living up to his insane physical talent. Should have multiple majors by now.

Play head to head with Koepka today ... one would say Brooks is as long,as accurate ,a better iron player ,equal wth wedge and much better putter.

Koepka also seems tougher and even beats him in the chick level

Hate to admit it, but Poulter has legitimate beefs. If it weren't IJP, I bet more people would be agreeing here, but it is. The fans in the U.S. are getting to be an embarrassment. "Nice shot, Chubby", and "How's your ankle?".... LOW class a--hats. The mics on course should be nowhere near the fans anymore... If the players say something offensive they are given a consequence, if the fans do similar, nothing is ever done..... There is a certain integrity to the game that somehow we hold the players to but not ever the spectators. Can we stop acting like uncivilized attention seekers, please!!?

Hey, does BK curve the ball? Its interesting he has 2 us opens. He hits as straight a ball as Ive seen. But does he have "the shots" to win at Augusta, for example?

 

He is solid, consistent, and very patient. Not sure how much imagination he has, though.

Watched Fleetwood tee off on 1 and followed him through 3. We decided to wander around, then back to 1st green to watch the guys in contention start their round.

 

Then the buzz about what Tommy was doing started making its way all throughout the course. We decided to follow him and the guy put on a show. He had the galleries rooting for him. Glad I got to witness such awesome golf

- Crowd comments were above average obnoxious again. “How’s your ankle?” at Finau is a new low...

- USGA screwed up royally on Sat, but the Sun overcorrection was the smart choice. At least Sun was about the players.

- Glad Fleetwood put up a 63, coulda been 1-2 lower.

- Surprised to see how different DJ was Thu-Fri vs Sat-Sun.

- Phil snapped, golden boy no more. The golf talking heads need to quit pretending he’s a contender, he’s not. He’s won ONCE since his last major 5 years ago...

- Koepka earned the win no matter how you parse it, he made every save needed Sun when no one else could after Fleetwood.

- And most of all, Joe Buck absolutely blows. I had to listen to watch the US Open but I just skip NFL games when he has a mic. Idiot!
