I shot 91 gross for that 71, with a triple on 18. I'm only getting 16 strokes Sunday, I believe. I'll need to keep it around 85-87 to have any decent chance. Will take another career day.

Those ~500 yards from blues to whites are definitely worth the 3 strokes for me since I'm a shawty off the tee. Especially on the par 3's. The par 4's over 400 yards end up being 3 shot holes most of the time for me, so getting a discount on those really helps. I really hope none of the holes have blues and whites playing from the same spot. That would be lame.

How many rounds is that? Were you hitting draws from the blues? That just seems like a coincidental gap to me.

I don't think of the whites as much easier than the blues there, but because of that I haven't played the whites much to test that out. From the blues I'm only hitting driver on about half of the par 4s.

It's not a big sample size. 3 from the blue and 2 from the white.

I've been travelling a fair amount the past week and a half. When I play these clubcorp courses, I'm typically by myself sandwiched in between foursomes. I played 3 of those rounds since Monday last week (plus a 27-hole work scramble this past Monday). I was teeing off from the tips as the foursome in front was getting out of range, then hitting wedges to about 50-90 yards short of the greens, then practicing my half wedges into greens, since that's what I'll probably be seeing on Sunday. Played two/three balls most holes. I hit a LOT of golf shots in the past 10 days. Haven't practiced like that in a few years.

Give me some Waffle House on Sunday am, and I'm ready to go.

GTF2 : What's your food strategy on Sunday?

I was planning on hitting Waffle House, Urbana Branch, but instead I'm going to go to "my place" in Baltimore for a breakfast burrito and breakfast beer at 9:30. Leave the bar at 10, course at 11.

If I did Waffle house, I could eat a lot closer to tee time, which makes sense, but sometimes I like to feel lighter by the time I tee off anyway. I'll have some clif bars on course.

I'll have coffee starting at like 7:30, then a chorizo burrito and more coffee.

If I don't make a Duluth Delivery before teeing off, I might be knocking on this guy's front door. . .

This is an affront to all the hard work Sully has done over the past 6 months in keeping his handicap where it is.

Has anyone ever played in that bunker past the 3rd green in this picture? Like, has it ever been touched?

Domes, that is one of those "mystery bunkers" you find on a golf course from time to time that make you go, "why does that even exist"?

I have never seen anyone in that bunker and i have played a lot of rounds with a lot of different golfers on Worthington. Not only have I never seen anyone in it, I've never seen anyone alter their shot to avoid it.

Please report back if anyone is in that bunker this Sunday.

I've never seen anyone even close to getting in that bunker. That would be a good tie breaker though. Anyone who can keep it on the green from there wins the CC.

I at least knew that one was there though. I was just looking at the overhead to see if there were any others like that. Did you know there's a fairway bunker on the left side of 18?

I’m literally about 5 miles from the course, if anyone’s needs coffee, just swing by. I’m planning on being there around 11ish for range, putting and a hotdog before 12:50 tee time.
