I think they have been pretty subdued in their "players" irons. At least in the X-Forged and Apex lineups. It seems it's hard to find any GI iron that doesn't have some sort of flashy badge to it. Even Ping has a lot going on on the back of their GI irons (G700 being the exception).

I thought Harry was now on the Ogio side if their business, no longer Callaway clubs.

 

He is the president or vp of something at ogio I believe but he still has pretty big roles with callaway and the clubs marketing as well.

I remember this happening a bit with the first Epic too. I'd bet there's some truth to it. I don't think they ask their pros to post false data on twitter.....also, when the Rogue was released i don't remember much talk of it being longer than the Epic, or it being marketed that way

 

Again though, real "gains" now are usually limited to a few yards, which is almost negligible on a golf course anyway.

My guess is the rogue irons will be "updated" and called Flash, Flash Pro, and Flash X.

 

More distance and forgiveness and better feel, naturally
