I know! A local rep was saying that it got left out of the upcoming release schedule. I’m trying to get confirmation

 

If true, somebody dropped the ball big time. Ugh...

 

PM 2.0 is coming but most likely at the start of 2019 (more offset, new grooves). The new MD Forged that leaked on here a few weeks back will most likely be a Japan release only and not make it to the US retail market. MD5 development is just getting started.

 

New wedges that have been released at the Napa event the past couple years will not be coming this year.

 

That’s good news. My current PM wedges are done and I really did not care for the Hi-Toe wedges this year. PM 2.0 will be in my bag for sure.

 

Excellent! The whole story comes out eventually...looks like it was taken off the Fall release schedule and moved to spring. Makes sense!

Just a Heads up that today only all Callaway Epic clubs are 50% off at PGA Superstore. Just seen the email a little bit ago. Guess it's safe to say the Epic line is being updated. LOL

My guess is the MD4 will be two years. They can begin design now for a release in january of 2020. That’s how I read the post about MD5 plans.

If that's the case, their product cycles are turning into old TM style where new stuff was coming all the time. MD4 is a solid wedge. No reason to throw something new out there. Hell, they just had that tactical version.

Yeah, I doubt there would be an MD5 this soon. That would not make any business sense. I just want to see the new Apex CF19 irons.

 

On a side note, I finally gave the Rogue driver a whack and that thing is winner winner chicken dinner. I'll be looking for that on the CPO site in a year or two. It looks fantastic behind the ball too.

This. Not that it's nearing release, just that is the current project they are getting to work on and there is no new wedge set for immediate release in the US.

Frankly, Callaway needs a pro version , if the rogue was to replace the XR driver, tired of all the big 460 cc drivers. A smaller 430, 440 cc driver please.

I didn't pay attention as to who was on the show but on PGA radio around 5 on Friday they had a guest talking about the new Epic line. Said he could not say the name but bla bla bla longer, faster, etc...
