Using this logic though you have to accept that if none of them end up with it in the bag that it was inferior to whatever does. Careful!

So apparently theres a new spider coming too. Something in between the mini and the current size. And has a new insert. Was described to me as the odyssey white hot insert with the pure roll grooves added.

 

I missed the rep today with the gear. But someone who held the new stuff related this putter info to me. Anyone seen the putter yet ?

10th Anniversary Spider. Looked good and felt great.

Just hit M5. I have M2 2016 with Yellow Hzrdus shaft. Put in M5. I will be making a switch. 3 wood, and hybrid also nice. Didn't hit it. But looks are great. All have twist face. Hit M5 7 iron with tensei shaft. Was flying 10 yards further than my P770's

It's funny how sensitive TM die hards can be. Kindof like people thinking tour issue heads are really that much different than stock ones. Oh wait.

Who says that the new features are gimmicks? While saying everyone should play persimmons is an overreaction you can't say that what TM is doing with this line isn't an advancement until you have hit it, with numbers to prove it. Most of the new features on clubs are small tweaks that manufacturers are using to try to maximize numbers and create ideal conditions that will suit a majority of golfers. Does everything work for everyone? Of course not. Does that mean that they should stop trying?

 

I think the idea of having a face that is truly at COR is a great idea. (I'd like to hear how the resin affects sound. I'd imagine that it'll make a nice thump instead of a loud obnoxious noise.) They moved the back weight track all the way back on the M5 and it looks like they lowered the weight lower on the M6. Those should be improvements on launch and spin characteristics when fitted.

It’s definitely not shallow. I never said it was. It’s just not a real deep face either. Let’s just say it’s somewhere between an Orlimar Trimetal and a Hammer X in depth. Lol.

 

Someone mentioned the old R7 Titanium fwys. Prob closer resembles it than anything else I remember.
