Just hit M5. I have M2 2016 with Yellow Hzrdus shaft. Put in M5. I will be making a switch. 3 wood, and hybrid also nice. Didn't hit it. But looks are great. All have twist face. Hit M5 7 iron with tensei shaft. Was flying 10 yards further than my P770's

How did the M5 Ti fwy look?

That’s what I want to know most.

I just got in from testing out the new line up. I walked in hoping that the new drivers would remind me of the OG m2 in performance and feel and i wasnt totally disappointed.

First: I dont give a damn about color scheme or any visual things. Not that mental. M6 is the clear winner in this line up. It performs. Fairly forgiving. Numbers were good and better then I remember any of my previous TM drivers being. The m5 was a let down. Numbers were decent but it felt very cheap. Its going to be a tough year for those seeking a new driver. Everyone is pulling out the big guns.

As far as I’m told they weren’t making a m5 hybrid. Only m6 and then gapr models if you want something more workable

How did the M6 fw perform and look? Does it have an adjustable hosel? Or is it fixed like the M4 is?

I only used the smoke and a rogue 130 msi which someone had on hand. Smoke is decent. Everyone who tried the evenflow red liked it for the launch but spin was fairly high. Dont think anyone was overly pleased with the tensei orange (non pro).

To be perfectly honest i seldom pay attention to TM fairways so i barely even looked at it. My assistant was hitting them all night so maybe he will chime in and give you more info.

I'm pretty sure the M6 fwy is fixed like the M4. I should have given it more attention. I was pretty fixed on the M5 to be honest.

Sounds good. $399 for the M5 is a bit too steep for me, that’s why I was asking about the M6.

With Koepka, Casey, and now Fleetwood testing the ST190 drivers it seems the tour guys are wanting to maybe move away from the gimmicks TM is starting to put out.

Or they are just free agents testing all the gear they can get their hands on to see if it is better than what is currently in their bags/

Gimmicks or at least attempts at progress in golf clubs?? According to you should they all be using persimmons to make sure no “gimmicks” are at play?

So apparently there’s a new spider coming too. Something in between the mini and the current size. And has a new insert. Was described to me as the odyssey white hot insert with the pure roll grooves added.

I missed the rep today with the gear. But someone who held the new stuff related this putter info to me. Anyone seen the putter yet ?

where you see that

I think he's just assuming all of the guys playing Mizuno irons will be testing the drivers. Haven't seen news of that anywhere and a TM rep JUST posted a photo acknowledging Fleetwood using the M3 last year and tagging him in it.

These statements seem contradictory. How did the M5 feel "very cheap" if not related to "any visual things"?

Notice how i said feel. I dont feel using my eyes. Reminding me of this old POS Cobra driver i owned about 10 years ago. Performance wasnt piss poor. Just had this odd feeling at impact.

It's funny how sensitive TM die hards can be. Kindof like people thinking tour issue heads are really that much different than stock ones. Oh wait.

So what do you play? A Callaway with Jailbreak gimmick? A Titleist with active recoil technology gimmick? Perhaps a ping with dragonfly gimmick? Doesn’t matter the OEM or year of release brah

Don't get so mad. You're just feeding the frenzy.

And I've never met someone from Texas that says, "Brah". Thanks for being the first.

Looking forward to this new line.
