Mizuno 2019

I never minded the blue in the JPX900 or the ST180, just like the black to carbon better. I have a prediction based off success of this model line of course.

The ST-190 drivers sit scarily wide open to me. I have a fitting Saturday with a Mizzy rep so curious if I can close the face a smidge and keep performance where I need it to be!

I was fitted to 8.5 degrees and toe up 1 degree.  Face does not sit open at all.  If you play it at 10.5 it does appear open a smidge imo.  I played my first round with mine today in wind and cold.  Driver is hot off the face and forgiving on shots off center.  Huge improvement over my F7 but this one was fit to me so comparison is probably not fair.  I love the KK70X shaft and they tipped an inch(my first tipped driver) making it super stable.  Very excited to use my ST190 this summer.

My new bag should hopefully arrive in a couple weeks.  The 190 and G are the truth.  I just need more directional help!

I'm looking at reshafting my ST190 to a Atmos Tour Spec Blue 6S.    I've tried making the TS Black work, but I'm just not getting the height I need.  I'm also hitting it on the heel side of the face a lot.  I'm thinking about tipping it 1/2" and playing it at 44.5".  What would that do to the swing weight?  Will it be considerable that I will need to make it up with lead tap or hot melt?

ST190G is proving to be a great stick for me. Got on Trackman today for the first time with it with ProV1's. Club is 45", set to 7*, Tensei Pro Orange 70Tx. 114mph Club head speed, 164 ball speed, 14* launch, 1980 spin. Was 33*F outside and I was hitting this thing places I could've only dreamed of hitting my 917D2 last year.

Strong numbers! Nice work getting it dialed in!

Did you think that on both models? So far I like the look at them at address as I've held the 190 but haven't had the chance to hit one yet. I really dislike how the 180 looks at address but other then that, it's a great driver. Really hoping when I test both and the 3wood they are good fits and I can pull the trigger.

Yeah, perhaps the 190G isn't as open as the regular but they do sit open.

I don't think they sit open or very open. I think they just look that way because of the contrast of the black top to the silver face.

Silver face?

I am a little concerned about the sitting open look after buying a 190 sight unseen though. I don't like the right side of the course and try to eliminate it as much as possible. Here is hoping it sits square or at least not too extreme!

Sorry, forgot the drivers were black, but the fairway woods have chrome/silver face.

All in on this! Reposting from the equipment forum, mostly want to do this to show everyone that you can't overlook this driver this year

Beat out everything for me, the Epic Flash and Cobra f9 were close but the regular ST190 9.5 turned down to 8.5 beat everything with Tensei Pro White 70TX. Going through a couple swing changes and my numbers aren't perfect but I'm so impressed and it's $150 cheaper than the Epic, Tmags or Titleist, that's REALLY impressive.

Really excited to get this going and beyond the numbers winning it's easily the best looking and sounding driver out this year imo. A total surprise from start to finish but it's the real deal, everyone should try this.

That looks really good. I was wondering what the top view looked like. That should definitely be more forgiving than any iron, but not as big as the corresponding hybrid. I hope there is no performance drop off.

Hows that trajectory compared to your various Mizzy 4 irons?
