For me “2nd tier” applies to the guys who are only “famous” on forums like these and social media handles catering to people like us. The Tigers of the world will always be the Tigers of the world to hardcore golf fans and the average “I watch the Masters only” golf fan.

 

Guys like Scott Stallings being a legend due to our admiration of his lead tape application is something that would only pop up here. If I said Scott Stallings to the “Masters only fan” they would probably think he is the guy who owns the Ford dealership down the road from their house.

The Chezmeister, Chez Reavie. Mostly I just like the name, and wish I had a bud named Chez.

A lot of them. 1) Henrik Stenson - such a skill, never know what to expect from him. 2) Louis Oosthuizen - such a talent, always calm. 3) Adam Scott - always good on the most important tournaments, powerfull swing and unusual putter game. 4) that fatty and funny Irishman, Shane Lowry. 5) speedy and concrete Brandt Snedeker. 6) forgotten German champion Martyn Kaymer. 7) C.T. Pan - looks like a little boy, but very calm and precise with his putter. 8) Argentinian temper and romantic soul, Emilliano Grillo. 9) European tour player Robert Macintyre, talented lefty Scotish youngster, such a swing, maybe future Mickelson.

I like the guys with equipment companies I like... Always rooted for Brendan Steele because he was the only one on tour using Wilson blades. Now I've added Woodland, who as a bonus is a Big 12 guy from the middle of the country.

 

Also like some of the Srixon players. It's cool to hate him, but I like JB Holmes.

I really like Marc Leishman, Duf, Kisner, Hoff, Perez. The last 4 cause they have some character, Leishman just seems super chill and level headed, solid game and a bigger dude, I gotta cheer for the big boys.

Second tier on Euro Tour? I'm not sure if you call him that but he hasn't won in a while. Julian Suri. Great swing, also a @iteachgolf disciple.

Second tier on PGA definitely Tommy Fleetwood. Love the guy does things his own way and also a great guy. Not sure if his game is suited for the PGA tour though he's not quite long enough to make things easier.

Kiradech Aphibarnrat. like the way he approaches golf. Doesn't seem to take it too serious and has a good time
