I just dropped off my 60g ZF to get shafted, but I have an uncut 80TX ZF that measures 22.75" from tip to the "a" in Diamana.

Finally got my ZF 60 installed in my TS3. Easy to load. Didn't have the best driving day as I had no range time ever with this combo before hitting the tee box due to frost. Also drove nearly 2 hours to the course to play in 40* weather after a day of rain so no roll and extremely cold. Felt great and thought it carried well for me when I put a good swing on it. What I did like was that I was able to find the center of the club more consistently. Problem was because I'm a handsy player I wasn't shutting the club face enough, but that's me and not the club. I still have 2 uncut 80g ZF shafts I'm debating on shafting up for fw, but I don't know if it would be better than my AD TP.

I have a ZF 60TX in an Epic SZ 2D that's unseated my Kiyoshi Black 65 for the first time in 4 years.

I played a Whiteboard for years and this is definitely a much improved version of it.

I gained another +1.2 mph clubhead speed, +1.8mph ball speed and a consistent smash of 1.48.

But what's really telling to me is I am hitting targets (fairways) more often. I've had it in the bag for 8 rounds in 2020 and am averaging 1.7 more fairways hit per round.

I'm really interested in the Rogue White 130 and will get a chance to try it one day but for now, I could not be happier with the MCA ZF.

How does the launch and spin compare to the Kiyoshi Black?

Using 2019 TP5X:

Launch went from 13.8 to 14.4

Spin increased 2170 to 2280.

Swing Speed avg. 108.8 Ball Speed 161.0 Smash 1.48

Carry 266 Total 290

 

What I'm seeing on the course is a slightly higher ball flight with a shallower landing angle. Winter conditions has the course pretty firm and I've had a couple drives carry a bunker at 272 and roll out to 312-315. And to be honest, I'm getting to the point I could use a little more spin. I wouldn't hesitate to play the Black again if I lose the magic with the ZF. but for now the ZF is a slightly smoother form of perfect for me.

Moving on from the ZF 60tx...going back to pro orange. Still got 2 uncut 80 ZF shafts sitting FML...that's what I get for jumping the gun.

I can't get the timing down with it. I'm much more consistent with the PO. Love the feel of the ZF, but when my swing is off like yesterday it just doesn't work for me. I wanted to try it in my FWs, but I have plenty of FW shafts that work for me already so no point. I also hit the ZF lower and spin it less than the PO fwiw. YMMV.

hit it in a M4 tour issue head and loved it.

have also played the PO70TX. Liked it to. Just was very left side for me

I’m going back to my DI 6x for the SIM Max. It’s effortless to swing and i can move the ball either way. Sometimes I wonder why I play other shafts lol.

ZF a lot stiffer and way more stable then the DI isn’t it? DI feels very soft to me

ZF is stiffer but feels great. Biggest problem was knuckle balls for me. Ball was just falling out of the air.

Ive seen you move the ball either way on every hole, its eerie how much you can curve the ball......Not to mention your flighting of the ball, low as a head high bullet or 150' high riser. I think you should give the TS3 another try, it felt good with the ZF but I would add 1-2* of loft on that face and shut it a bit...That driver played like 5* open

Was looking at a few shafts and DF and ZF and Tensei White were in the mix. Found a Tensei White and snagged it.

 

But was eager to try the ZF - and would still like to do so.

I'm moving on as well but the opposite. launch angle and spin is high...I'm sure there is some mechanics in play here but can't get timing right.
