> Playing on the Korn Ferry Tour worked out for his friend, fellow Norwegian and Oklahoma State Cowboy, Kristoffer Ventura. He won twice and will be on the PGA Tour next year.

173 should get him into the KF Finals which offers a chance for a PGA card

Everyone was all Hovland when he made the PGA Tour, and now Morikawa and Wolff are the leaders of the new guys with a win each in their first year.

Really pulling for Brice Garnett to make the cut and go to the playoffs. He's already got his card for 19-20 but it's nice seeing a fellow small town Missouri guy play well.

In hindsight, it was hilarious listening to Faldo and Kostis trashing Spieth's swing on #12. They talked about multiple problems he has (knee action, too wide, sliding, etc). They made it sound like he swings like a 15 capper.

Then Spieth goes birdie, birdie, eagle, par, birdie. Such a terrible swing indeed.

I've always thought it would be fun to challenge Faldo and Kostis to analyze a swing without knowing where the ball went and then tell us where it went.

If Hovland doesn't get his tour card in this event he can still earn one for the 2019-20 PGA Tour season by finishing in the top 25 of the KF Tour playoffs.

Kostis could never analyze a swing by just eyeballing it, he needs the "Konica Minolta Swing Vision Camera."

There you go. Just fixed the last part for you.

yeah, dunno how or why faldo & kostis have analysts positions with a tv company ... it's not like they actually know anything about the golf swing ... i mean, kostis played football at new hampshire ... proves he couldn't possibly know anything about a sport ...

Perez is exempted for next season since he won the CIMB during the 2017-18 season. He missed a chunk of this season due to injury which is most likely a big reason he's sitting on the bubble right now.

Perez still has a year to go on his CIMB win in October 2017.

Streb would go back to the Korn Ferry Playoffs again.

But it didn't go OB. You and the TV talking heads got it wrong. And he ended up with a 64....even with all those swing flaws.

He's been a successful swing instructor for decades. Long before the hi-tech era so he can certainly analyse a swing in the manner you suggest he can't.

Soooo the pga tour website says it went out of bounds. The commentators said it went out of bounds, pga Facebook says it went out of bounds, but you say it didn’t. Ok. I believe you then.

Time for him to retire along with McCord and Maltby and Nantz, these guys have been around the tour Forever, time to hang it up and get some fresh blood. Golf broadcasting of tour events seems to carry life long tenure.

You are right. The PGA Tour website graphic clearly shows that it did not go OB and he chipped out to the fairway then hit his third shot up to the green. That is wrong. He hit his fourth shot up to the green.

But yes, you are correct, it did go OB.

Patton Kizzire making a charge to get into the playoffs. Coming in at #129 so needs a good week. Still has exemptions based on his multiple wins in 2018.

It looks like Streb will definitely go back to KF playoff.
