Agreed. The Anser looks terrible IMO. Blocky bumpers and a very bland looking neck.

The finish however looks incredible. That B60 looks so nice.

Correct. In my experience, putters with sunken grooved faces like this are inconsistent with sound/feel and therefore distance which is why a lot of tour guys don't touch them.

 

On another note the putters look great, Ping is the OG.

Not sure, but doubtful, however, if you have a coated PING carbon steel putter, all you need to do is strip the finish off of it and then use it, and you will then get this finish. I had a raw carbon steel 009 that patina’d up like this simply from use.

I don't think this is possible with Titanium/Tungsten combo. You could get a torched finish though.

this honestly amazes me that these companies continue to do this. it can't be that hard to just have a custom garage type website where you can go order tour issue equipment. this feels like a total miss from Ping, Callaway, TM, Titleist....

With Callaway you get close to that with the Toulon Garage

Barely, and they never have it fully functional or fully stocked. Half the time they don't have the different finish options or hosel options for every club. If Odyssey offered a Tour Issue wesbite where you could customize what insert you put in your putter, now that would be fantastic.

For example. If I could order a Black O-Works 7s with a White Hot Pro Insert for say $500, I like people would be all over that.
