I’ve been gaming my LAB Broomstick for the past 2 months.  I want to tell everyone what an absolute game-changer this is.

I never thought that I would achieve this level of proficiency on the greens.  I played 54 holes of golf over the weekend, and 3-putted once (from 50 feet - left it one rotation short!).  I am regularly breaking 80 now.

It is so different that it “shocks” your body into thinking about putting differently.  No matter how many different standard putters I used (at one point, I had 30 different putters), I could never visualize speed and feel as well as I do with this.  It happened so quickly and effectively, it blew me away.

If you have never tried a broomstick, I can’t recommend it strongly enough.  IMO, LAB putters are the best out there.  I have sold 80% of my old putters and honestly have zero interest in anything else.

Do you putt SideSaddle/Face on ? What is the lie angle and length of your putter ? How tall are you ? Thank you

To answer question asked about "is the DF more stable than Link" I am biased because I play with DF but I just hit the Link 1 for 30 min. Here are my observations

1. Link 1 looks absolutely beautiful in person. I was at PGASS surrounded by every putter made and the quality and look was 2nd to NONE. I love the techy look of the screws (I also play PXG irons so I love screws) The fit and finish was perfect.

2. The face is hotter than the DF. I assume that you will get use to it and I am guessing that lag putting may actually be easier.

3. Off center hits left / right is not nearly as forgiving as the DF.

4. Up / down miss hits was better with Link than DF.

5. For someone who is use to a blade, I would go with the Link.

I predict that the Link 1 outsells all the other LAB putters and will account for 75% of LAB sales within 3 years.

I just received my DF Armlock putter and man… this thing is awesome. I did armlock for a couple years with odyssey and the cobra Agera. I did well with 10 ft and shorter but wanted to go back to traditional putting.

after a year of below average putting I purchased a LAB link and got a sweet deal on a Broomstick Mezz. I like the Link but the broomstick just was easier for me to lag and really hit online. So I figured maybe it’s time to try an armlock again.

I was worried about the head shape and if I’d be ok with it… it is EXTREMELY stable and rolls off very nice. Takes getting used to having it a bit more forward in my stance, but DF + Armlock might be in the bag for a long time to come.

Love seeing more L.A.B. putters in the bags of some of the YouTube golfers.  Not that this is what I base my decisions on but just fun to see some increased visibility for the brand. Bad news the BUSTAJACK10 10% off coupon code has me considering buying a Link to try even though I know it won’t beat my DF. So I guess it’s an effective marketing ploy.

@labgolf I have multiple Broomsticks.  Is there any sneaky issue changing the shafts of the 2?  One is an Accra, the other a LA golf.  One of a Mezz XL, the other a DF.  Both 79.5 degree, 48 inches.  Is this something I should send in to you specifically?

and here’s hoping for another MASTERS edition this year!

I've seen many posts on how easy and stable df 2.1 is. However, I'm also blown away by its feel. I know feel is subjective but it feels fantastic, better than most putters i've tried.

I’d prefer a more muted sound, myself. But it doesn’t feel bad by any means.

To those who think that the DF looks ugly who cares what it looks like if it is better at getting the ball in the hole. If you feel bad when you carry the DF or just don't feel good when you play with it, change to the Link 1. I tried it out and if the DF did not exist I would be play it vs the Mezz which I didn't really like the look of when I was standing over it. The Link 1 is a very beautifully made club that still has zero torque and you can put a lot of great looking headcovers on it for bag decoration. I think the big difference is off center hits but for many people that is not the problem with their putting so it may not have an impact at all on your performance.

(sorry @Nelson... I miss read your post)

@nelson.br.1515 if you are concerned about looks of the club in your bag I have to ask, who is looking at your bag and clubs and evaluating you as a person? Who cares what it looks like if it is better at getting the ball in the hole. I play with a guy with an old beat up bag and plays with a mixed brand of older scratched up clubs, swings all his clubs like most people chip and he kicks my butt every week. Huh? I didn’t say anything about the looks of the club…I play a DF an eye 2 wedge and a ChipR. I pretty much only worried about performance.

Hey guys - tough to go through 82 pages - so excuse me if this has been discussed.  I hit a Mezz.1 the other day at PGASS.  I liked how it setup and I loved the forward press grip.  I also like the tech and the general idea of more technology in my putter.

However the face felt very hot.  I'm not a super-soft insert guy, but current game a Betti with FIT face, so its on the softer side for a milled putter.  Is it just me or is the aluminum face fairly hot?

I bought a link a few weeks ago while in Myrtle.  Sadly only got one round with it, but a few thoughts to share:

1.  I pretty much never buy center shafted putters, but the balance/stroke feel of the link intrigued me so much.

2.  It’s ugly.  Yeah, sorry but its def not a pretty putter.  BUT if it works well, who cares.

3.  I LOVE the feel/sound of it.  Big fan of the feel and my lag putting was excellent with it.

4.  Something about it makes it feel easy to get the ball rolling on my intended line.

5. i dont love the stock grip, so may pull it and try a SS tour.

Overall, I’m happy with the purchase.  It will need to beat out the new Anser D PLD I bought so….  Lets go!

You ain’t lying about subjective feel, it’s the one thing I disliked most about my DF 2.1. Luckily I was able to find what I’m looking for in the Axis1 Tour HM. LAB now sits at home.

Man I love/hate this forum. Couldn’t pass up 30% off. Custom Link order is in. Now I have to hurry up and wait for it to get shipped so the Link vs DF death match can start.
