The was definitely driver and NOT 3 wood. Pretty disappointing when they are pushing the SZ so aggressively, but good reminder the shelf life is always longer than we believe. Did he even use the F9 last year?

Good spot OP. Someone has started a thread on the Tour Talk forum about this and all I could find on Getty were images of him using an old fairway wood but it was definitely a different colour scheme to the driver that you have spotted.

His shaft in the new Sz wasn't performing like he wanted is the reason he put the ltd into play. I'm guessing it has something to so with how fast he is swinging since bulking up this year. Ltd is a spin killer.

that driver was and still is a very good driver, cobra should have no issue with him going back to it

I find the timing interesting just as he's coming off his "25 lb gain, hitting it so far" campaign... IF he's hitting it further, he's doing it with older tech (which may actually be the most advanced tech still), and doesn't bode well from a marketing standpoint for the newer models. Granted most people probably aren't even paying attention... Maybe Cobra should launch an LTD2 next...

The F9 is awfully good. Especially now with the price drops. The top face edge on the new SZ looks a little funky to me.

Truly ahead of its time and I would love to see someone do a comparison video against 2019-20 top drivers. It still has one of the most unique CG/MOI combinations of any head.

Unfortunately, that damn Spaceport had a habit of not only coming loose but losing its plastic window. I don't know if the Black version ever fixed that quirk but I got rid of my LTD Pro after the second or third time dealing with it.

I went from LTD to Bio Cell +. That was also one heck of a driver, 440cc and a deep face.
