Looks as though Nike have changed the sole plate for him to get more stability. Hopefully this works for him and he sticks to the infinity tours.

Imagine not buying a shoe because one of the best golfers in the world, who has serious knee issues, may have had some stability concerns during his 120 MPH swing while playing for millions of dollars on the biggest stage where every shot matters because you think it may cause negative effects at your weekend game trying to break 80 and win a couple of bucks. 

 

What he is doing is a little different... Anyone that says stability doesn't matter is obviously wrong, but most amateurs could wear awful golf shoe and it wouldn't really change anything.

I will say, my buddy who has had knee surgeries, issues in the past wears regular Nike gym shoes, rain, wind, any terrain. He swings 115mph and is a +1 - so while I personally need the stability and ground secured, he does not. So, it is possible

Anyone have suggestions/tips to have shoes fit tighter, especially around the heel area? I just got the Fearless Together 270s and I opted to go up half a size. They fit good at the front but loose around the heel. I wear cushioned socks but I feel like I have to tie the shoes way too tight.

I have them.  they fit the same as all other roshe g tour for me.  I just brought them back out for a round thursday and got a lot of compliments.

Plus it's Christmas and Nike pushed him use the shoes in this tournament to help their XMas sales.  He'll go back to the Nike Tour Premier next year.
