finally popped up on Golftown's site. Right hand only for the HM, and no SEL set posted, so this sounds like a further delay in production for lefties in general.

Exactly what I came here to ask about...will the HM Pro's and Forged lines eventually be offered in Left Handed? If not, how is Mizuno failing to cater to the average golfer by only offering SGI and Tour irons to lefties?

I am really impressed with the 921 line. I got a set of the tours as they offer the gap wedge in a players iron. I am not disappointed at all. Very crisp feeling and true ball flight for me. I would not expect distance to be a selling feature but it is consistent. I dropped five balls on course and they were all within 5 yards of each other front to back which is nice depending on my abilities. They are pretty straight and I can move them when I want. Some people who did not like the feel of the MMC may like these.  The S taper isnt a bad shaft at all. I do not get CTaper spin but the ballflight is strong. Overall, they kicked the P770 out of the bag till spring potentially. Gonna give them another whirl to make up me mind

Any lefties here? What did you decide? Unfortunately, my game doesn't fit the HM or SEL profile, so I'm going to have to pass on the 921 line. I can't believe there isn't a LH offering in the HM Pro or Forged. Extremely disappointing. Time to reshaft and regrip the 919F or go with another manufacturer.

Laid my eyes and hands on the 921 Tours today. Really nice. What was surprising is that laying the Tours next to the MP-20 MMC's, the Tours, to me, look slightly more

game improvement.

Was Mizuno accepting custom pre-orders before 8/31? If your fitter or store took your order earlier, did they have to wait until 8/31?

My fitter told me he put my order in with the rep at the end of July. Whether that order was able to be submitted by the rep at that time I am not sure.  I can't get an answer on that.

Saw these in person at Golftown today.  The forged and the tours look awesome.  The HMP’s were a step back from the 919’s. I found the 5 iron to be really offset vs mine? .  I’m in no hurry to pull the trigger given the turnaround time and the fact that I might as well just finish the season with what I have. But it will be the forged for sure when the trigger is finally pulled.

I just told the guy I wanted to know the status of my order. He asked if I had an order number which I didn't because my fitter put in the order. He asked for my fitter's name and where he was located and he found my order and gave me the tracking number.

Appreciate the info. enjoy those new sticks !!!

Ugh, fitting heads still haven't arrived in my pro shop (Vancouver, Canada)...... at this rate I might not get a set until 2021!  Mizuno really botched this release, at least in Canada.

Strange... I was in my local golf shop last Saturday and all of the new heads were sitting on the counter.

Went in to our local Nevada Bob's [northern Alberta]and they had sets on the shelf and fitting heads in the cart. Mizuno standard lie fit me well as do the modus 120's so had them check the specs on a set of the forged after hitting both the forged and tour fitting head for a bit. walked out with a set of 4-pw forged

Went into the local Golfmart here in Walnut Creek, CA and hit the 921 Forged and HMP's versus the P790's...  7 iron only as it was the fitting cart, with the Modus Tour 120 stiff.

Damn it's tough...  the 921 Forged felt amazing when well struck.  the 7 iron was getting consistently 180 yards...  the HMP's are stupid easy to hit straight and long, and the feel is a bit more "whispier" and still crazy soft.  the HMP's are easily as long as the P790's, if not even a tough longer... and the Forged are maybe a touch shorter with that sweet forged feel.

I can't wait to try the long irons against each other and figure out which to go with...

Not sure if you had the same experience as me, but I found the forged to feel great when hit well, but just so so when not struck well.  Whereas the HMP , which also feels great, seemed to feel more consistent throughout the face.

Getting caught up with the last 5-6 pages here. I now question that lefty golfers make up 5-7% of the North American market based on reading this thread...man!
