Fwiw - ordered 2 different sets this month with TIX100 and both showed up within 6 days.

Thats awesome!

I had a set ordered with PX 6.5's in the early part of December and was quoted Jan. 3rd ship date then dropped back to Jan. 10th. On Jan. 3rd I have my friend who placed the order check and its now saying mid June, basically because Callaway didn't have enough orders in queue with those shafts to warrant placing an order for a batch of the shafts. So, I canceled the order and having a set built by Peoples.

When what will be available to the public? The TCB iron came out last year and is on the Callaway website. If you're looking for the raw finished heads, I believe they were more of a limited run and have been discontinued.

But they're only available on callaway's site. No retailers.

You can get them…

if you want them from somewhere like Golf Galaxy/Dicks I have no clue, but you can get them from plenty of online retailers or in person fitting shops.

I see based on your previous post you are aware of Callaway website selling them but said you couldn’t get them with Modus 120x.

https://www.bryangolf.golf/collections/callaway-irons-custom/products/callaway-apex-tcb-irons-custom-1

There is one of the many stores I’m sure that can build them for you with that shaft. I choose it because I’m pretty certain Bryan Golf has a good relationship with Callaway, has a good reputation as both a fitter and builder and I like supporting small businesses.

Thanks. Maybe I have too much of a tunnel vision mindset, but I've never heard of bryangolf.com and am always skeptical of ordering from sites like that.

He’s a fitting shop (Run by just him and his wife, and they run a very good one, so you can be comfortable the build quality is high and the specs are exact) in Florida. Nothing sketchy, but you can always use somewhere like People’s Golf (who are mildly affiliated with GolfWRX and many users have ordered from, including me three times). You can specify the shaft you want in the order.

https://thepeoplesclubs.com/callawayapextcb.html

I’m sure you can find many other golf club retailers online that can get you these with the shaft you want.

I had a set of TCB with modus 120 last year for a brief period of time and they were decent, but firm.  They didn't resemble the impact feel of the previous gen Callaway MB, nor the softness of X-Forged or X-Forged CB.  Not that I think everything needs to feel like EPON/Endo or Mizuno forged, but they are a heavy hit for sure. Solid and heavy hit.

I went back to my iBlades for the season, and now in a different iron. (i59)

You CAN order these from your PGA SS or GG but you need Callaway area rep approval.  Mine came from GG because I play golf with the manager from time to time.  He got it done quickly.

Seems like the most popular Callaway iron amongst the staffers in quite some time. There almost in every bag. Man I wish these were more forgiving compared to my ZX7's.

I still think the TCB should have been the X Forged or the X Forged should have just gone away.  It seems like their entire tour staff has gravitated to these.  I think they're fantastic and have zero interest in trying anything else to replace them.  Couldn't be happier.

They’re close to the same level of forgiveness, the only difference is how the sole plays. We are talking 5 yards on mishits between the two when missing the center of the face, so either you lose 1 club or about 1/2 a club.

Man - I’ve ordered 5 sets through several green grass accounts. All they do is email the order in.

Tbh, I’m waiting for callaway to put it on a certain site. I can get a discount.

🤦🏻‍♂️ guess you don’t want them bad enough.

You should probably stick to the Apex Pro 21’

I don't want them for "$2000 kinda bad" no.

The TCB will never, ever, be sold by Dicks or GG. It's a tour offering that was a limited retail release from Callaway directly.

PRDYMTC TOUR  9.8° + UB6 / PRDYMTC  15°@16 + UB6 / MVRKTC 18° + UB8 G430 26°@25+ IZ95 / FRGD TEC5-G + MODUS115 / MD5TC / SPDR EXTC + GPS

Interested in this shaft option for TCB.  Did you play Modus 120 in MB as well?  Have a set of TCB and I feel like they are a bit firm too, but I thought it was the shaft that is currently in them.

Bryan is the man. I've ordered a set of Miura's from him and a 3 wood. Legit fitter, builder and business man.

SIM2 8 degree - Ventus Black 7x

SIM2 3 wood - Ventus Black 8x

Srixon ZX Utility 2 Iron - Ventus Black 10TX

Mizuno MP-20 MMC 4-PW - Project X 6.5

Mizuno T20 50/55/60 - Project X 6.5

Scotty Cameron Phantom X 5.5

Titleist ProV1x Left Dash

I don’t find them firm, they just seem like there’s a bit more mass or power behind them/knowing where you miss vs soft/springy, which is exactly what fits those guys at that level. Given almost 80% of their Tour Staff put them in play throughout the first year of them being available, I’d say they got the feel they were looking for.

I hit them side by side, same shaft vs Mizzy Pro 221 and for sure the 221 felt nicer on solid contact but as soon as you missed,  that’s where TCB completely takes over.

Correct I played this in my Apex MB as well;  I play Modus 120 in all my irons and have for years.  It's been out longer than people realize.  Tony Finau plays Modus 120 in his Blueprints.

To the other folks responding in this thread - I don't mean they are firm in a negative way - which is why I clarified a solid heavy hit.  But def not buttery soft. (sorry to use that adjective). 🙂

And to "Third Times a Charm" - they are indeed available at GG and PGA SS.  Just not on the rack - requires them to custom order the TCB for you.  I did this very thing from the Denver GG.  THat's how I got mine. (no offense - I think you just meant "won't be available on the shelf")

Yes I didn't mean firm in a negative way either.  I know what you are referring to though in the feel as I've come from an MB with Modus 120 too and was my favorite combo ever.  I guess I'll try Modus 120 in the TCB's for now but appreciate the feedback. What I currently have just feels drastically different.

Really wish Callaway would reduce the offset they put on their player's cavity back irons.  WAY TOO MUCH IMO...has been like that for years, and is the reason I simply can't play their irons.

Way too much?  What player’s CB’s have “way less” offset than the TCB?

TCB, TM P7MC, 620CB,&  Iblade are all about the same.

I wish I could get my hands on just the 7i and 8i in these to try. I’d drop my 8i MB (keep the 9i and PW) and drop the 7i Apex Pro (keep 5 and 6) and make a 3-way combo… Lord I’m crazy.
