Comparing to the JXP921 Forged they are easily a club longer. It’s not a fair comparison because the S-tapers in the Mizuno felt a little too stiff for me.  I was going to pick up the 50* zipcore but I might need the set gap to fill the yardages better. Just got back from the range and the PW was around 125 on average and the 50* zipcore was 100 on average when I tested it a few days ago. Or maybe I need to reshaft the zipcores. 

It is ok...we are happy for you!!!  I wanted to try and be funny and say something about the current quickly filled orders using the manufacturers defect will probably be fine...but that would just end with someone thinking I was serious lol.

Or want to give your employees one of their regular holidays, that's kind of a cheap shot. 😉

 

That does explain why my guy couldn't get a response to his email wanting to know why my clubs didn't arrive Friday as promised, lol.  Order 2.0 isn't going well but I still can't play golf so I just won't complain - we'll see how that plan goes if they don't show up soon.

I'm at day 40 now haha. Not as bad as others in this thread. The Titleist 714 mbs are doing okay for now but I know these zx7's will be WAY easier to play. I'm sure they'll show up someday.

That’s great that you still have a sense of humour about it.
 

The 2 things that stand out to me are:

 

1) It seems like there are threads like this about every OEM, and that is just the current climate right now.

 

2) No one on here wants to cancel their order because we all know how good the ZX5 and ZX7 are, so we know it’s worth the wait.

 

Those are the 2 factors that will keep me waiting too.

Yup, the way I see it is they'll show up eventually. I'm busy working on my game anyway so having the challenge of mb's to hit is kinda fun. Then when the zx7's come in it'll be so much easier to play. Of course I'll have to adjust my yardages but from a forgiveness standpoint it'll be no contest. I ordered through Fairway Jockey and they actually have my clubheads and it's being built, they're just overloaded with orders. Also true temper has no X7 7 iron shafts either. But covid has screwed everything up and it is what it is. Good things come to those who wait 👊🏽😎

Have a tourney coming up in 3 weeks, surely hope they arrive before then.  If not I'll be borrowing a 3 wood for a day from someone.  Will keep the board posted on how quickly they ship (or don't).  

 

 

Order delivered today so 11 total days from order to delivery for custom 3 wood and driving iron.  Almost half of that was shipping from CA to NC.  Not bad at all.

Let' see how long this will take, the shop told me around 5 weeks.

 

P.S: I had contacted Srixon by email to know what was BO and they answered that the stock modus 105, dynamic gold shaft and TI are BO till mid April and that the z cord and cp2 pro are BO as well. Anything else seemed to be in stock.

I’ve been told by Srixon that most Lamkin grips are BO as well.

 

I ordered an RTX Zipcore 50* on Saturday and there wasn’t even an option to choose any Lamkin grips.

Day 84 for me! Was just told yesterday that an 8 iron head is holding up my order. First it was golf pride grips in Feb. Then it was modus 120x shafts in March. Last week was told it was a pw head and I was second in line in orders to be sent out once they came in.  Now looking like first week in May for me. Patiently waiting on the zx7 5-p. Can’t wait for them to come in because I’ve been able to play with the zx5 4 iron and that thing is stupid easy to hit high and straight! #patientlywaiting.

Feel for you guys still waiting for custom setups. I cancelled my order for ZX7's that I placed at the beginning of March when I was told they'd be in on May... golf season is short in the midwest and I'm not playing a different set for 2 months.  Found on ebay with the same shafts last Monday, received Thursday and played them on Saturday.  ZX7's are the real deal, such a great feeling iron. Most importantly when I miss them I get the feedback I need to know where and how I missed it.

I ordered ZX5's stock Modus 105 S, Stock grips, etc.. Was told April 16 ship date when order was placed February 20. Looks like it's the shaft that is the delay for me

Update everyone!! My irons have shipped 🎉🎉🎉🎉 because of the time difference where I am emails come in while I'm sleeping so every morning when I open my emails I'm hoping to see a shipping notice AAAANNND that day has arrived 😎 They're coming fedex "2" day air which really means next Monday for me, as the FedEx freighter flys in every Sunday here. My entire set is listed in the shipping list so that's good. I practice 5 days a week and play 2 days a week so ill have a thorough review coming as well. 

 

 

Hoping the rest of you that are waiting get your clubs soon or at least a shipping notice!! 🙏🙏🙏

I ordered my ZX5 7i on 14Mar, got it about 10 days later (I'm only a day or two shipping from Srixon). Ordered a ZX7 8i on 26Mar, showed up today. Ordered ZX5 6, 8-PW on 3Apr. All with Recoil 95R and GolfPride MMC grips. We'll see how it goes. For now just working on the 7i at the range (edit - 8i showed up today), though I may try a round with the bag as-is. Just missing 9-PW, having options for everything else. 7i and GW should be plenty given my current swing 🙃

For all you guys waiting on the ZX5's, hang in there. Played my second round of the year today so I've started to get something that resembles a swing back and I hit some shots where I had to actually chuckle to myself. Damn these things are easy to hit. They remind me of my Ping G410's only the feel is soooo much better. I'm just glad I didn't cancel mine like I almost did.

This is my first post after a long time lurking and a lengthy registration approval time.

 

I ordered ZX7/5 combo set with weak bend on 5’s and Modus 105S.  Tour velvet grips.  My order was delivered to local retail in 10 business days.  I feel terrible for the folks waiting a long time but it will be worth it to get the setup you spec’d.  These things are an absolutely joy to swing
