It's interesting how no fans in Arizona and no celebs at Pebble have made two of my least favorite events pretty enjoyable. I know a lot of people don't share that opinion about Arizona, but surely we all can agree about this event?

The celebrity pro-am had their day.  When Bob Hope and Bing Crosby each died, they could have ended it.  Boring and annoying nowadays.

I play pretty well. And I’ve never taken 15 practice swings while holding up a whole group.  
 

I stood and watched that and thought “ I’d be really close to saying , I’ll go if you’re not “.

Can’t agree more I absolutely despise the clowns at the Phoenix Open and the way the ams are gushed about...both really suck to me.

I readily admit to being very hypocritical here because I’m normally one of the first to b**** about guys taking too long, but I’m thinking for a guy whose only been in this position a couple of times while trying to figure out the wind there, I’ll give him a pass. Especially since most everywhere else on the course he’s pretty must faster than everyone else.

Yea. He gets the pass , as in nobody says it out loud. But quietly you’re thinking “ how long are you going to ice us “?  When it happens more than once the guy gets put on “ the list “. Lol.

Heck, he’s playing with Spieth, he analyzes stuff as much as anyone on tour. I think one time taking a bit long to play, when the norm is very quick, is excusable. 
 

He’s definitely grinding right now though.

Don’t really follow he and his Caddy that often, was it typical for Greller to do everything but take the club out of Jordan’s hands or was this a more rare moment where he tried to assert himself?

Lol.  Somewhat true.  I think the 15 plus practice swings when first to hit on a par 3 was just perfect storm of wrong time wrong place.

Nope. Not rare. They disagree rather strongly sometimes.  And it’s a mix on who’s correct.

I would agree with that. 
 

Also, I didn’t count, but was it really 15? Or an exaggeration for effect? I really don’t know. But they also weren’t true practice swings, looked almost a “maintain a feel” kind of deal. Who knows. 

 

Do know that it is really a shame his dad isn’t there to watch.
