I just put a set of 620 CB with MMT, so far I like them. I can’t wait for winter to end so I can get them on real grass.

I bought 620 MB & CB to create a blend.  I do love how they feel.  Though I don't play MMT, I bought a few MMT shafts to test before I bought my current shafts.  You'll like them, especially the CB's.  Boy are they fun to smack.

Wow, Mizuno with more than TaylorMade and Callaway combined...definitely didn't see that coming!! 😲

Right now, Mizuno at no. 1 (121) ahead of Titleist and Callaway combined (108).   Ping at no. 2 beating no. 3 Srixon by only 7 (81 v. 74) and Srixon  beating TM, Callaway and Titleist.  I am so wrong to think that Titleist was going to win this but it's not over yet.  I may close the poll after a week.

Thanks everyone for participating.

Very surprised at the outcome so far. Definitely thought Titleist, TaylorMade, and Callaway would be much higher.

Goes to show the WRX crowd is a very different sub-section of the golfing world than the general golfing consumers.

totally understand about Mizuno in these forums. Excellent Irons!

In my most recent fitting I just ended up having a slightly tighter dispersion with the P7MCs but the P921Tours felt damn good!

Coming from Nike Vapor Pros 5-PW and Pro Combos 3/4.

Just sold my Srixon Z-Forged irons and am the proud owner of some Ping Eye-2 in 2-W. Quite the switch but, shot a career low the other day so, things are looking up. I still need to remember how far current 7 irons goes vs. the prior 7 iron yardage. Not easy.

You mean like the old school irons?  Why the switch?

Currently playing Apex C-19 Combo irons with KBS Tour V 90 shafts. Hard to beat this iron. The new Apex Pro 21 irons are hollow body and not crazy about hollow body irons. I probably will hit the new Apex 21's but likely will stick with Apex 19. Backup set Ping I-20 irons. In my opinion still one of the best irons Ping has made.

Well this is pretty interesting. I would imagine that most WRXs represent the more knowledgeable segment of golfers at least with regards to equipment.

I was not too surprised to see Srixon so high on the list ahead of so many big names in golf. I know fitters like them and I bet that is where most of the people that play Srixon discovered them through that route. I wish you could walk into a big box store and see brands like Srixon and Wilson on the wall as well as the most popular brands . I’m gaming the 765/565 irons with a U65 4 iron and they have been great irons for me. The new ZX irons look great and as I have read they are forged by Endo in Japan pretty cool.

Oh yeah. Old old school. Why the switch? I can't quite answer that. I am fresh of a set of Srixon Z-Forged (one of my favorite MB models to date) and wanted something a shade more game improvement oriented. Not to mention, they were free and all they needed were some fresh grips. Already considerably happy with them.

It's entertaining having them in the bag, my Tei3 from 98 or 97 in the bag, my Cobra F7 3 wood and going to top them off with a new Sim 2 Driver and Hi Toe wedges.

I currently game 6-AW of Cleveland 588 mts. Backup set would be either a set of the VAS 792's or some hybrid irons from warrior custom golf that my dad gave me. I may play a couple rounds with those hybrids because before getting the mts I was considering saving up for a set of Cleveland launcher hb/hb turbo.

I'm never getting rid of my Mizuno MX 200's. They all my favorites of all time.

I've owned 3 sets of Mizuno MX-25's.. my brother has my first set still, my oldest son (25) has my second set in play when we go, and the third set I reshafted last season for my wife to use as she's wanted to get back into golf. Not the same as the MX-200's but definitely great irons.

Guess I count as an "Other", as I'm still using Nike Vr Pros. Really can't see that changing until I wear the grooves out to be honest, as for me, they are perfect. Easy to use, long and feel fantastic.

My mid to short irons are Ping I 500 that were the winners when I paid for a multi brand fitting at my local retailer, and I love them.  But I have a bunch of Mizuno GFF wedges, and an old GFF 24 degree 4 Fli Hi hybrid iron and a new 18 degree 3 Fly Hi MMC hybrid.  My best club in the bag is the Mizuno S18 52 degree (not 54) 9 bounce.  I bought a new one I will use when I wear down the grooves on the first one.  Before the Pings I had Nike Vapor Fly that were very good too but I wanted a smaller sole.
