I thought I’ve seen a couple posts saying the preorder date is 7/29. Can anyone confirm?

My pro told me couple days ago that 7/26 is when they can be preordered.

I see the original/current T200 in many bags at my club. Probably only needed a tweak. That said these new ones look good.

Oh yeah. Great head, lacking in the looks dept. IMO. Sitting next to the original T300 did make them look a little better! 😂 These are definitely an improvement in the looks department! If the same or better performance is there, should be a real contender.

Hearing today from SMS on Tour that even JT has dropped his trusty 5 wood for the T200 2 iron this week at the Open, 1st time JT has dropped the 5 wood in any event in years... previous Opens (and the Scottish Open, I was there last week watching him) he has still used his 5 wood. Spoke to his dad Mike Thomas at the Scottish in 2019 and he said he can hit that 5 wood high or low on demand and so doesn't bother with a 2 iron... so again this T200 2 iron must be good!!!

The T100 is the evolution of the AP2. The T200 is akin to the TMB.

No !

According to the Titleist guys I spoke with, the new T100 moved much closer to CB and MB. Defenitley not the successor of AP2.

The new T100 have a shape and topline like a blade.

I hit them great on the range, but playing 18 holes with these is another question.

Defenitley need more effort to get the same numbers as with T200.

Yes, yes, I know about the jacked lofts of T200, but I don't care about lofts.

The T200 look awesome and feel great. Long and nice flight (don't have the numbers here, but they were really good).

Nice compact shape. Topline (to me) is perfect. Similar to my AP2 718. I don't like too thin toplines.

I forgot to ask, but I would guess the back plate is metal.
I'm moving from AP2 718 to T200 (will stick with the PX LZ 6.0).

I have also ordered a 48 set wedge, just in case I have to tinker with the gapping between P or 48 and my 50 Vokey.

I was invited to a Titleist fitting and could place the order already. Should get my order within 4-5 weeks.

Official launch is Aug 26th

Can’t wait to compare the T200 to the new T300.  Anyone know anything about the new 300?  Currently playing C16s but looking to add irons

The new T300 is ridiculously long (too long if you will). The Titleist rep took it out of my hands after two shots.

It felt significantly harsh compared to T200 and T100.

So Titleist is completely changing the lineup from last year?! When the T100/T200 originally came out, Titleist clearly stated the T100 was the successor to the AP2. When the T200 was released, we were told again, by Titleist, that the T200 was replacing the AP3. Now your saying the T100 is supposed to be close to the CB? Why would they do that?! Then what’s the point of the CB? And the T200 is supposed to be the AP2 now? Sorry, not buying it. Talk about mass confusion…that would be a marketing/sales nightmare.

Were we actually told that by Titleist? If I recall correctly from back then, almost every youtuber and reviewer prefaced their bits with how Titleist explicitly wanted to avoid comparisons with the old line.

Or am I misremembering?

Either way, I'm also not sure there's much room for the CB if it is the case that the T100 is so close to the MB.

It wasn’t in writing in Titleist’s marketing materials, but almost every review out there, including videos/interviews with Titleist reps, identified the lineup as T100/AP2, T200/AP3, T300/AP1.

I just went back and looked at reviews, which I won’t name out of respect for WRX, and literally every review I checked from the most reputable sources in the industry made a statement identifying the T series as being direct replacements for the respective irons in the AP series.

Ya thats what clowntubers said, but not what Titleist marketed them as.  And to be fair T100 were a big smaller than AP2s, and now 2021 T100 is smaller than 2019 T100.

So yes they replaced an iron in that segment it, but it wasnt marketed that way for one reason or another.

Thats the first I’ve heard of this. That’s an epic fail from Titleist then. So the T200 is now the AP2 and the T300 is still a massive GI iron. If true, this is a mess of a lineup.

T200 will have some TMB qualities and semblances.

it’s an awesome lineup!

Thank you. This is my understanding as well. Titleist isn’t reinventing the wheel here.

I was able to play with a friend today who played the T100S and I played the T200.  Attached are some photos of a comparison of those two to a 714 AP2.  These clubs are very nice to hit and they go through the turf very nicely. My favorite was the T200, I think I have to get both on a trackman and look at some numbers.  I could play with either iron and be happy.  Lofts resemble what is posted for these irons on the Titleist website.  It's going to be a costly fall for me...😀

Thanks for sharing. Did you notice a difference in forgiveness? Also, any idea what the material on the back of the T200 is?

How’s this a mess of a line up. Titleist specifically said t100 is not an ap2 replacement but a new iron. Yes it’s the same category and to everyone else on the planet that’s what it meant. As I said though original t100 were a bit smaller and apparently new ones are even smaller.
