2021 Titleist irons delivery times?

Crazy, well, it feels a bit bitter, because i was told they have every shaft apart from the i7. Now they told me nothing has arrived..well it is like it is….

Just placed an order for T100s/T200 combo, was told the standard 8 weeks. Not expecting anywhere close to that, based on the order I cancelled after 4 months form this summer.  Alternatively I ordered a shaft only for my TSi hybrid and it came in about a week. Ordered another single hybrid, custom shaft and it came in less than 2 weeks. Just irons seem to be the issue

I ordered T200 5-P with AMC 880 shafts on Sept 6th.   They arrived on Mar 3rd with AMT Red shafts.  Neither my dealer nor Titleist notified me of the change  😦

just sharing my experience. Ordered on 1/18 through DD T100 4-P PX 6.5 with GP MCC+4...was initially told shipping at the end of March. Checked in with DD early April and they said Titleist is waiting on heads and I should expect them to ship early May. We'll see. Good thing I'm fine playing my current set and have the patience.

I just ordered a set of T100s’s with Nippon Modus 120 X and a SM9 50° wedge from a Titleist fitting day. They said they wedge would be there within a week or two but the irons 8-12 weeks. My pops wants to take my old irons but judging by comments here I shouldn’t count on getting my new clubs anytime soon.

Dang I was fit for t100 but now I’m thinking it’s not worth buying them and to buy something else or just wait. … seems like if I place an order now I won’t get them till end of July if I’m lucky. … September is probably more realistic. 
hmmm… do I order and wait ? Skip buying irons this year? It get another brand?

I know the wait times aren’t ideal but the T100 are so good. I waited 4 months for mine but they are worth it. Best irons I’ve ever played.

For those wanting irons quicker, I bought a set last month from Ben at The Tour Van. He had my set built in less than a week and shipped. You’ll pay more than if ordered direct from titleist, but totally worth it to those wanting them much sooner. He had a few sets of heads left the last time we spoke.

When was the last time you spoke with him? Just call him up and he’ll ship anywhere in the USA?

Have you played any blades like Miura mb-101, Callaway mb or titleist mb? Curious how the T100 compares to traditional mb’s.

T100 is a cavity back with heel and toe tungsten from 7-4. It can pass for a MB at address but it's more forgiving by design. Is there a reason why your fitter didn't recommend the 620 MB?  If so, MB101 would be similar. Just depends on what you need for your game. A ~4 month wait might see long until you're a few months into playing poorly fit clubs and they get back to the end of the queue for another set.

 

If it's helpful, I think I've seen that Srixon (ZX7) and Wilson (Staff CB) both have shorter delivery times.

I’ve played Titleist mb and the T100 are much more forgiving and feel just as nice if not better.

Ordered mine on 10/1/21. Was told a week ago to expect them in May if not June. They showed up this morning. Haven't hit them yet but looks wise, they're the stuff erections are made of.

I ordered my T100S 3 weeks ago and was turned off by the wait times. But this comment has me turned back on.

Couple of anecdotal things:  Got fit for some T300s at SwingFit Hilton Head at end of March.  Great fitting.  Loved the process.  Placed the order with them.  Figured there would be supply issues, but was unaware of this stuff Titleist is going through.   Last week, I asked the fitter for an order update and a shipping update, and got replies they are checking...  Hmmm...

 

Last week, I went to my local store to look at putters.  We talked business, and the owner mentioned he stopped handling Titleist all together.  He had a customer place an order for irons back in May 2021.  Titleist kept blowing off the order, until December, when they finally said "just waiting on shafts."  January and February rolled by, and Titleist said they were still waiting on shafts.  Finally, my friend told the Titleist rep to just send a stock set.  (Which, shockingly they did based on comments here.)  The owner said he ordered the shafts the customer wanted direct from Golfworks (who had them in stock???).  He finished the assembly at his shop last month, so that customer only waited 10 months for his irons...

 

Tonight, I went to the T300s order webpage.  The website has a standing message that all custom orders are 8 weeks.  They have a second warning, depending on the grip and shaft you select, that your customizations will either "add 2 weeks" or "add 4 weeks" to your order.  I would add there were a few shaft grip combos that did not add any time.

 

I just asked the Titleist chat CSR about wait times, and she said the eight weeks is currently definitely in play for my T300s.  She was very nice, and even looked into their system for expected wait on my Oban shafts, even though Titleist wouldn't be obtaining those for assembly.  She said while they don't deal with Oban on irons, they do work with them on drivers.  (She said Oban's wait times are less than Titleist, so they shouldn't be a problem.)  She didn't have to do that, but it was a nice touch.  So, thanks to Titleist Rep, Julie from Hawaii!

Talked to a rep yesterday and he claimed shafts aren't the issue.  He said T100 and T100S heads are very back ordered.

Love the irons. Ordered from DD and was taking too long so cancelled the order went to golf galaxy and bought off the rack and replaced the shafts with ones from the set I was plying previously (modus 120x). 
 

actually worked out perfectly because I got the swingweights exactly what I want since I built them myself. 
 

they are my favorite irons I’ve played since the mp18s. Feel similar to me - solid, dense yet soft.

I did a Titleist wedge fitting on Saturday and was quoted 8-12 weeks for my wedges. At first they just said "8-12" and I was like "days?" and then realized no they meant weeks.

I ordered 4 SM9’s with custom stamping on March 22nd.  Received word yesterday, April 19th) that they have shipped.

 

So, right at 4 weeks.
