Yes ... and the real issue isn't upper body strength, it is whether his barely recovered legs can take walking 72 holes at the rolling hills of Augusta. Even he said he's worried about the walking part.

Upper body strength can, conceivably, compensate for weaker legs during the swing, but certainly also adds extra weight to every step taken walking.

This. A lot of folks here have attended the Masters (you don't really get anything close to the reality just watching on TV). It is a serious walk. Especially serious if it is a little over a year since you almost had your leg amputated for criminy sake.
