Golf Delivery Blues

So, i work from home every day now, with a window overlooking my driveway and my vast , sprawling manor.

 

On order i have

-New irons

-New Wedges

-A NEW PUTTER THAT I LITERALLY CANNOT EVEN TALK ABOUT DUE TO NDAs

 

So naturally every day i look out my window and see Fedex delivery trucks approaching, and get excited like a kid in a candy store. The last 4 deliveries:

1) Clothes for my daughter, ordered by my wife

2) More clothes for my daughter, ordered by my wife

3) Some gifts for my mom, ordered by my wife

4) Air filters for my new HVAC which i had ordered a month ago and forgotten about.

 

This is THE WORST

You order your own filters??? So pedestrian. My manors caretaker handles such things.

Ms. aenemated is Jeff Bezos' best friend. Literally every day, there's an Amazon delivery of multiple items. 

 

We have a Nest doorbell so I get a notification when someone gets near the door (also, all three of my Rottweilers perk up somehow) and it's like Christmas, my birthday and the lower Oakland Roller Derby finals all rolled into one when something I've ordered actually shows up among the morass of ... whatever she gets. 

 

I don't ask questions. I just break down boxen.

I actually had to sign an NDA once for golf, on the Callaway trip

 

Right now I don't have one lol, but I did make a gentleman's promise not to discuss

Content king is definitely the goal, end result is becoming an instagram influencer where i post several pics a day in bathing suits. I'm halfway there!

I'm always at work and I get the notification that somethings been delivered, then I just hope its still there when I get home cause I live in the ghettooo 🤣🤣

 

When my mannkrafted putter was set to be delivered I left a note on the porch asking the carrier to please come thru my gate and put it at my back door, was a rainy day, sure enough I get home, its at the back door, wrapped in 2 clear bags and taped. Legend.
