Tour Scotty Cameron putters - 2022 American Express

I've been thinking about picking up a Champions choice Newport 2 but if the 2022 release is going to be what I think it is, I will hold off and have a putter that looks much better than the champions choice without the questionable paint fill and busy sole.

Do we have date on the announcement of new 2022 lineup? Is there any announcement planned?

 

We usually get a peek in the PGA Show. Not sure what’s gonna happen this year.

Guys...I would be 99.9% certain that there won't be any BB in the updated lineup.  Expect a couple new head models and a couple discontinuations.

I didn't think SC was going go be at the PGA show this year. Last year the new phantom models were announced first or second week of February for March orders if I'm not mistaken. Gotta think we aren't far off as they haven't been shy about showing off the attached models.

Such innovation!  I mean, who would think to put a plumbers neck on a mallet.  Brilliant, truly brilliant.  Whatever will Scotty think of next?  His mind much be racing all the time with creative thoughts.

I’d assume a 7, 7.5, and a full mallet.

Almost certain that it will in the slant and single bend options as noted previously. The fact that Scotty’s IG did an “introduction” video on these bolsters the case. Wouldn’t be surprised if we see an announcement in the next 2-3 weeks, release in March/April.

The slant neck has a weld too. So.. Not sure...Fingers crossed.

New Odyssey 7 OG now available with plumbers. Odyssey seems to be only brand that makes them readily available.

Looks like they're doing away with the yellow coloring and just going black with the stainless. Per the Hot List, it looks like the X7 will be a model and the .5 slant neck will be available with every model.

So after being really excited at what that said, I thought that meant that the 11.5 would be offered in the slant neck. Then I calmed down and realized that the picture showed an 11.5 still with the bent shaft. It seems they will refer to slant neck as actual slant necks AND low single bend shafts?

 

The new sole plate is FIRE though...

Just looked and Carls Golfland added 2022 at the end of all the Special Select models. A sign there wouldn’t be a 2022 release of the Select line?

I really doubt this comes to a general release as some have said. Happy to be wrong but I really doubt it.
