Rare Nike golf clubs

I’ve Been really into Nike golf recently! Please show some pictures or names of rare Nike clubs! I really wanna learn more about them. Honestly anything interesting you know or would like to say about Nike golf please leave it in this forum. I am also interested in Nike 2 irons any model, rare Nike putters and any other rare Nike club! Thanks guys

2010ish Nike Vr Tour was 420cc,glued, slightly open face and was Rare as it landed centre fairway a lot when i played with coworkers🙂

True Nike Collections start with 3 sets:

 

- the Original Forged Blades

- the Miura Split Cavity Prototype

- the Miura Full Cavity Prototype

 

.... and then, go from there!

Anything from The Oven or Tour Issue is guaranteed to be somewhat collectable. If you're looking to spend some money, I'd go there. Tour Issue drivers like the 380cc Victory Red Tour and the 380cc Dymo were very slick and rarely popped up on Ebay. Very few seemed to even get out and when they did, they were many hundreds of dollars. 

 

If you're just curious about production models that were good, here are a few:

 

Drivers: 

420cc Victory Red Tour 

440cc VR Limited Edition

 

Fairways: 

VR Limited Edition 3w (15^o)

VR Limited Edition 5w (19^o)

 

I believe pretty much all of the above drivers & fairways came with a 2^o open face angle.

Have an oven vapor speed TW driver head . I’ll try to scare up some pics.  Has the dot ( or dots can’t remember if it’s 1 or 2 ) on the back bar in the cavity.

I have "Original 8's" in the Split Cavity Proto and Full Cavity Proto.

The Splits are Raw and Brand New, 3-P.

The Fulls are Chrome and IN PLASTIC Brand New 2-P.

 

I need the correct 2 Iron for the Splits and need a set of the OG Forged Blades 2-P. That would complete my Nike Collection. 

 

.... Also have a set of the OG Forged Wedges. 48° and 62° Tour Issues. 53° and 58° Off the Rack Stock. I cheated on these a bit, I wanted Raw, they are impossible to find in great, playable, condition Raw. I had the 4 Wedges worked on by Mr. Oughton.

Was staring at the listing for about an hour before they sold. I feel brain dead for not pulling the trigger on those irons! Only reason I didn’t buy is because I’m a broke teenager! Haha

ooohhh. i can talk about this all night. 

 

the biggest regret me still is not having snagged the whole baby blue cart bag. it plummeted like to somewhere 100 bucks when nike announced the seize. should have grabbed one of those. the prettiest bag ever and now it's an unobtanium.

 

still playin' a combo of Vapor Pro Forged blades + Vapor Fly Pro as DIs (4, 5) . VPF is buttery despite a half-to-one club short flights. (yeah, the distance loss feels hard). the Fly Pros are awesome, will not leave the bag soon. played a set of VRII Pro whole blade set that i had assembled piece by piece sourced over internet before the price became ridiculous. regret to have sold, but fetched me some good money. 

 

had 2 Covert tour issue (infamous OFT serial with those dots in the sole swosh) drivers with both Fujikura Six shafts. they were fun. small red pearl head with no mark on the crown. not too forgiving but with attractive hit sound—pro'ly the last gen of all metal driver head. things rapidly started to adopt fiberglass aka plastic stuffs around the driver head soon. that said one of the best nike drivers with under-hyped was, IMO the FLEX 440. so good, and the weight stick at the bottom really works. still eyeing on another one one day, having kept my last Flexloft sleeve. 

 

funny i've been contemplating to buy a NOS Oven Method Origin B1-01 (more of naked newport 2 than the normal dale heads). too much plastics (dubbed RZN)in the construction kinda bothers me tho. still have a last sleeve of RZN Platinum balls in volt-yellow. they don't go anywhere. precious, and now only for carpet putting. 

 

things i'm steel eyeing on are *wink wink holler*

VRII Pro #1 or #2 hybrid. badly!!! 

VRII Blades, maybe the satin ones but i need to hit a lotto. 

and another Covert driver head. just miss the tangy sound. 

 

dang i forgot one. once bought a Miura forged cavity back 2 iron head for $17 something. the ebay seller didn't know what he was selling and just listed a nike iron single head. snagged it right away and gamed for a few months. pretty head, smooth, but couldn't beat the modern driving irons. sold to scoop some bucks enough to buy a good shaft, i recall. 🙂

17 dollars? You lucky guy! I am making another post I’d like your opinion on it! I bought a set of miura forged irons. Please look at it! You seem very intelligent

just play the hell out of it sir. more fun playin’ golf than sweatin’ resale values of the sticks, no? 

 

me not the right guy knowin nuthin, but that set’s missin #6 & pw. unless you can source those piece by piece, doubt if they’d attract anyone. beautiful sticks tho. also they are not terribly sought after comparing to other few popular nike sticks. i’d just play have fun out there. 🙂

Not really rare, but still have the 460 Ignite that came shafted with a real Mitsubishi BB 83x. I also still have the 56 and 60 original forged wedges. I had a set of the forged blades when they were first released, but they never beat out my Cleveland TA-1's during that time. I sold them after hanging onto them for a couple of years (around 2003 or 2004). I really liked the clean look of those clubs.
