just put back in the bag two G25 hybrids. I love new toys just like everyone else but there can't be any hybrid easier to hit than these things. The whole G25 line from Ping were fantastic (also still play a G25 four wood)

Bridgestone JGR with Recoil shafts launch the ball high and fast with a slight draw bias that can be eliminated with a slight club face adjustment at address.  The feel is very solid and the ability to escape from rough or hit to an elevated green is there for the player.

The G410 is amazing for a hybrid. I have the 4, 5, and 6. Game changers for sure.

I'll add to the Nickent love.  I had the 3 and 4 3DX DC ironwoods for years and they were great!  

 

Can't comment on anything recent, but will tip my cap to the Cobra Baffler DWS with Nippon NS 950 shafts that I'm currently playing as a high launching, hook fighting option. 👍

G410 was the answer, until I tried a Cobra F7. The F7 is so good low in the face and from bad lies.

2011 Mizuno DIR (direct iron replacement) JPX Fli Hi was offset and had the length of the exact corresponding iron it was replacing.  Was a hot COR face and little bulge and roll so almost driver like in feel.

 

2022 Gen5 0311 XF hybrid just went into my bag and similar to the Mizuno JOX Fli Hi from 2011 minimal bulge and roll and a nice deep longish face...plus the adjustable lost sleeve and weights make it really nice to tune and its forgiving from my first two buckets with her.

For me...Ping G410 by far. Not the longest and best feeling hybrid, but certainly the straightest and easiest to launch from a tight lie.

Also, having the option to flatten the lie angle is a big plus for me since hooking the ball is so much easier with a hybrid.

Invest a couple of bucks in a more stable and heavier shaft (the Alta CB is kinda crap), and enjoy the straight and high ball flights.

Have you tried the Hy-Wood? Worth a try if you haven't.

I'm hitting my Halo Hybrids so well that I have no interest in trying anything else. Besides, IME it takes at least three generations of club development to make it worthwhile making a change.
