Very interested in the Forged Tecs.  Would love to see them compared in some videos to the Mizuno Pro 225's.  Lofts and overall size appear to be comparable.  Would be almost impossible to remove the 225's out of my bag though...

I was able to hit the Forged Tech this past weekend in San Diego!  Boy, they look good and feel great!  I do believe these will give the P790/770s a run for their money, if people will get off the band wagon and mosey over to the Cobra aisle.  
 

They will be my next set!

Would the Mim fit into a Ping i Series player profile? spin? forgiveness?

I think it launches higher and spins more than the famous i210. I also think the i210 would be a little more forgiving.

If the lower irons of the TEC prove to be more blade like than my current 2020 Forged TECs, I'll combo the 8, 9, and PW into my set. Lofts are the same. I want them to blend easier into my Vokey's both in feel and looks.

And the tec X is even thicker.....if they could simply duplicate the PXG top line like they are trying with the rest of the head.

Most of these photos you see are taken a foot or two away from the top of the iron... When's the last time you hit a club and your head was that close to it... Don't worry, go and give it a look in stores, it's not nearly as bad as these pictures make them appear... and this is coming from someone who plays Blueprints, so if anyone here is going to cry about it, it should be me, and I'm not... For what they are, they're slimmer than most if not every offering out there... unless you have a burning desire to play $300+ per club for a PXG, then have at it!

Head shape of the FT's reminds me of the Amp cell pro. Obviously a bit larger but man I loved the look ACP's and believe Cobra has done an excellent job with improving the anesthetics on this release.

Agreed with the above poster -- go see and hit these irons in store or at your local fitter. They are much more pleasing to the eye looking down than the pictures would have you believe! Watch out for the stock +1* upright lie angle on the FTXs out of the box tho. Cobra didn't advertise that fact very well and it could catch some folks by surprise.

 

As for the MiM vs. i-Series irons, no comparison for the most part. The MiMs are closer to an i59 type iron than the i525 or i210.

I'm in Minnesota and today is the warmest day of the year (supposed to get into the 60s)! On top of that, there's a Cobra Demo Day scheduled about 25 minutes from where I live. I'm so excited to try these!!!

Interesting. I really like the look of the Forge Tech, more stylish, nicer and angular look than the 225s. Gives the 770 a run as well. Really nice 👍

Not many reviews but found this one - HOLY MOLLY, these iron sounds like they perform INSANE...

 

 

Definitely, I have to give them a real good look considering the i525s is my leading choice.

 

Side question - does anyone know if these heads are taper tip heads? Or combo - the custom KBS TGI options looks like Parallel Tips hence I am thinking this head will take both?
