Ok. Molinari had a great 2 month (8 weeks) stretch on the PGA Tour in 2018 not 18 months. See below.

 

 

 

He was not playing well before that 2 month hot streak in 2018 and has not been great after he won the Open Championship same year. While he won early in 2019 but his career pretty much has died since the 4th round, back 9, of the Masters in 2019 in Rae's Creek. Twice. He has always been a streaky player over the course of his career. His high point was the summer of 2018. He will never be that player again. He had a great 2 months. Not 18. While he did have a great RC run with Fleetwood in France that level of play he had is long gone.

Well that was an interesting first 2 days. Would have been more interesting had the cut stayed at even with a few other bigger names missing the cut. However nice to see Scottie back in form and maybe we will see some bounch back weeks next week and headed into the US Open for JT, Horschel, Zalatoris among other bigger names who missed the cut. Bring on the weekend!

Agreed.  His game is completely gone, hope he gets it back. In another universe Molinari wins the 2019 Masters and goes on a major winning streak like Brooks from 2017-19.
