I have two that I really love, and am trying to decide which one to stick with: 

 

Ping G425 Max 3W with GD AD HD 7X, 43", great off the deck but I worry about the low profile off the tee

Callaway Rogue ST LS 3W, GD AD UB 7X, 43.25", amazing off the tee and good off the deck but not quite as easy

 

I use my 3W pretty evenly in terms of tee vs. off the deck.

I had the same concerns with my 425 max off the tee as well.  Started teeing it up just off the ground and it’s helped tremendously.  It’s just so easy off the deck it’s hard to ignore.  Plenty of ball speed too!  One other thing about the Ping, is the flat setting sits perfect to my eye.

Yeah I really, really like it. The problem is I probably hit down on fairway woods too much. I tee it up literally just barely off the ground. Working on some adjustments to shallow things out though.

My wife has a G400 5W, and I was worried too about the narrow face off the tee, since I borrow it from time to time.

 

Honestly, its a non-factor. It's great off the tee. Just tee it low. Ping makes amazing woods that work great off the deck and from the tee. I'm far from an amazing ball striker, so if I find it easy, you will too.

 

I would swing with confidence with that Ping.

Use it off fairway, out of light rough, off tee on shorter par 4s

Stealth Plus 13.5 with Fuji Ventus TR 7x @ 43” - rarely need it off the deck, but its a bomber when called into duty. 275 out has become reachable. It’s so good, I bought the 5 wood too and gapping is perfection.

Ping g410 with Lin q purple shaft. Just great all around. No issues with it off the tee but I don’t tee up my 3 wood very high.
