Uggg $629 listed price on their site and most all shafts are $250 upgrades! Growing tired of seeing these type of prices and getting little to no performance differences.

hmm… I had told myself I was going to wait. I think I can maintain enough will power to hold off until I hit it. Or who know, maybe tomorrow I’ll do a 180° and just irrationally ordering it.

Once again, no Stealth2 Plus 4-wood…they do offer the 3HL in regular Stealth2. 
 

They’ve also added more customization options this year including a [wait for it] black carbon face! 🔥

t made fan boi here. IMO I dont see the need for an upgrade bc stealth plus og was FARgiving enough. Prob gonna wait for the face to bubble or crack for warranty. 

 

They look solid, but i'm not blown away. Hopefully TXG uploads a vid with higher ball speeds to change my mind

I was really keen on the Stealth2 (non plus) as it looks like a natural progression from my SIM2 Max but after seeing the red ring around the back I'm not sure...will need to have a proper look in person but on the images and videos it's very noticeable!

 

Tried the OG stealth+ but it was a bit low spin for my liking and didn't have the consistency of my SIM2 Max so if the Stealth2+ is similarly low spin it may be a no-go

Stealth 2 HD = seemed higher-spinning, in the TGW review

(timestamp ~2m27s) = spun at 3400 rpm for the 10.5* model, with peak height at 120 feet

 

... vs the 2100rpm for the 9* PLUS model (timestamp ~2m30s), with peak height at 91 feet ... albeit wasn't apples-to-apples

Listening to the impact sound in the review videos and then watching the sound video on the Stealth2 page - I feel like I'm listening to two completely different drivers. That TM video isn't doing itself any favors IMO...unless its just me and my headphones are really off this morning lol

I kind of like that red ring. I have seen all the pics up to this point. And I was today years old when I found out about that ring haha.

Just noticed that too. I guess when most of your guys on tour (minus Rory) prefer a fade, you make the change. Compared to my TSR…that’d look sooooo flat

Hmmm...initial reviews are not overwhelming. I have a ventus black 6x coming. Has a callaway adapter. Definitely going to demo the paradym and paradym 3d before swapping the adapters. But it doesn't appear my stealth+ is in danger.

Everything looks really good.  I'm in the middle of grinding through offseason training and if I hit my ball and swing speed goals I have a feeling I'll need to get fitted in the spring.  I'm in a stealth plus 10.5 stiff now but I might need to knock the launch down some.  Also will be in the market for FW's.  Looking forward to hearing the reviews.

Agree. One of the reasons I like his product reviews. Another reason is that he is not the straightest driver of the ball. So when a club goes straight for him, consistently, you know it's good.

Is the stock shaft good in the stealth 2+ fairway wood? I debated on upgrading to the Graphite Design IZ 7 since I play the IZ 6 in my stealth driver. Would that be a noticeable upgrade?
