Hit the plus 5 Wood today in a bay.  
Promptly ordered one.  The versatility alone made it worth the upgrade.  The fact I can de-loft it one degree more than the OG Stealth was just an added bonus.  It’s a 3 wood with an open face!  
 

I’m going to adjust this thing during rounds:  off the turf: weight middle, windy tee shot: weight forward,  need to hold a green: weight back!

And lol that's mature, the MyStealth2+ with a ventus is 1000, unless you have an acount. Also arguing is exactly your cup of tea on this site so...

 You should tell TM the prices on their site are wrong, do em a favor, but like like I said, 1000 unless you have an account.

I’m not a fan of the shine either.  And if you are telling me the 2.0 is shiner than the TSR line then I’ll probably go custom as well for the matte finish.  I can tolerate the Mizuno 3 wood I have on order because at least it is broken up by half the crown showing the carbon

Any shipping updates from anyone?   Last year, I got a shipping update from DD on Jan 27 for the Stealth OG, which was officially released Feb 4.  So far, nothing.

 

It's cold where I am, but I just want to see my reflection in the shiny head.

My 3w is on a FedEx vehicle or airplane somewhere. Due to be delivered tomorrow. 

 

Buddy ordered driver, 3w, and hybrid and they're all set to deliver tomorrow too.

Just got an email saying my driver shipped. Fedex systems seem to be down so can't say when, but I am assuming on or before friday.

Update.

 

My driver has shipped from DD's.  Coming from Oregon via Fedex ground.  Only 3000 miles away.  Saturday delivery.

If u ordered from TM then check your card or PayPal. If the charge hasn't gone through (not just the authorization)  then TM hasn't shipped yet. TM doesn't ship until the charge clears. They generate the shipping label when it's built and qc'd...

Had them out yesterday and I am pretty impressed so far. Right off the bat I love the way the driver sounds. I will say other than numbers, I dont care about the looks/color of the driver or any of the cosmetics but sound for me is huge - and I love the way this sounds. The 3W/5W were equally good. 5W with the weight set all the way back is interesting, it definitely created a heavy headed feel - which I liked - and was really easy to swing. 

 

I have some Trackman time coming up Sat/Sun to test the drivers against TSR and Paradym TD and we'll see how the fairways do against the UW.

So, I got my 3 wood just now. I ordered with Ventus Blue 7x. I pull it out of the box and it is a Ventus BLACK 7x. The build sheet says BLK and my order receipt from 2nd Swing says BLUE so it wasn't my mistake. Maybe the order got entered incorrectly or something. Has anyone ever had this happen? I actually am curious to try the Black in the 3 wood. I was semi-fit for the Blue but we didn't try the Black. I say "semi-fit" because it was at the end of a driver fitting and I only hit a few shots with the 3 wood that were spitting out ideal numbers.  Would they send me a Blue and let me keep the Black? I mean if the black works, I would just keep it and not make any fuss but I'd rather hit it and see if it's even necessary. I just don't want to hit it and find it's not great and then they so sorry, we can't take it now.

They'll probably want the black back. What's your driver shaft? But no harm in calling to find out...

I have a fitted stealth 2 plus driver coming tomorrow with Ventus Blue TR 6x. I dunno. I have a Black 9x in my UW and it is great. Might just let it ride. This 3 wood is going to be tee only 99% of the time so more aggressive swings.

Give it a go. You might be surprised. Plus, you can use that weight to help get spin up if you need it. What's your driver clubhead speed?

110 with quick tempo. I am pretty sure it's going to work fine but not sure if ideal. I bought with trade in credit so not really a big deal.

You are probably going to be surprised...and you'll probably end up with black in the driver...

 

That soft mid in the blue tends to assist with a quick tempo, hard loader shot getting offline a bit. The black...not nearly as much. 

 

Give the black a go and call TM if it doesn't suit you...they'll fix the mistake...but you may likey the mistake...

Driver and 3HL were delivered yesterday. Somehow the order got mixed up, had originally ordered the + head but was sent the standard head. So not even gonna be able to use it for a while until I get it switched out.

I went back to the Rogue Elite Green 65x that I had in my old Sim Max. My god I love this shaft, I know its old but I dont know why I talked myself out of it when I went for my driver fitting last year. Wanted to test the TSR/Paradym TD against it so I ordered two more to test them against and have a couple in the backup bag. May turn into one of those hoarders buying every one I can get my hands on.

There is no 3hl + model fwy...did you expect a 16.5 head with the sliding weight?

No I meant for my driver. I knew the 16.5 only came in standard and that’s what I was wanting. But I ordered the driver in the Plus model.
