Yes he does......plus  TW has a design Co. (check out his back yard) and in addition he builds Putt-Putt/short game complexes. this ties everything together. Don't know if the simulator Co. will supply the ones use at his new venture but it would make total sense. IMO

IDK it sure beats tuning into to 5 different streaming services and 9 different TV channels to watch one round of tournament coverage all while getting ads, playing throughs, and sponsor interviews rammed down your throat. 

 

Hyperbole of course, but yeah outside of events with "uninterrupted coverage" pro golf can be hard to watch.  I really don't understand why people are getting bent out of shape about having more options for golf related content.

Exactly.  This isn't replacing anything.  This is going to be a fun, 2-hour, primetime in the off-season tv show.  

 

"Because Tiger/Rory are playing stadium golf on Monday nights in January, I'm not going to watch Sunday morning coverage of the Well Fargo Championship!!!!!!!  Furious anger!"

See what you're missing is that Tiger/Rory playing stadium golf is the first step towards a future where all golf is played on a simulators while music is blaring and hoodies and joggers are mandatory apparel. The horror.

This isn't my stance but have heard it argued that it "waters down" the golf product.

 

If, as a professional golfer, you are playing in this, are you not inclined to not play in an actual golf tournament?  I'd say yeah.  If you get paid to do this, and it takes physical effort, it seems logical it would replace another thing you would get paid for and takes time and effort.  Unless you just need the cash.

With so many top sports athletes invested, who also happen to be really good golfers, why not bring them into the team mix?  And I hope they are talking to the LPGA stars too.  Three person teams could be three male pros, mixed pros, or something like two pros and a AM linked to a sponsor.
