One of my favs... surprised those metals haven't exploded by now.  I took a page from WS and carry a 4.5 (Srixon 4 utility weakened a degree) and then ZX5- 6-p (no 5 iron) and really like it.

That’s awesome Titleist is making different versions of blades (JTs, Adam Scott, Webb etc), it would be WILD if they allowed custom order to retail.

I saw the picture of Webb putting with his Odyssey arm lock putter in the RSM Classic picture thread and had a question about the length of the putter.  The rule states, "For purposes of Rule 14-1b, the “forearm” is the part of the arm below the elbow joint and includes the wrist."  I took this to mean the grip had to stop below the elbow by at least a noticeable amount (maybe an 1" or more) and not at or above it.  His putter looks like it comes all the way up to his elbow joint.  Does this not get called into question?

Love the single bend mallets.  Betti has a few that I love the way they sit.

Love the shape of his blade’s.  Really nice pinched toe with just a hair of offset.  Old school look that frames the ball so nice.

Reminds me of the old custom grind program they used to have with the Tour Model and 681 blades.

MacGregor used to have a custom order dept. that was remarkable.  Back around 2k I ordered MacGregor blades - two 2 irons and 3-LW set, still have them.  The fitting was beyond my imagination.  Like they build for their pros then.  I picked out toe height n shape, blade length, height, top line, bounce, sole width, leading edge even hosel length, ferrule, loft & lie, etc...  It cost $$$$. 

 

I can see it for some boutique manufactures like Grindworks, but can't imagine the likes of Titleist getting into custom today; it's labor and customer intensive, plus costly, for not much of a market.

He did, but not all, or at least during that time frame. Unfortunately mine are not done by Don. I’m not sure if they were done by Clay Long or not though? If I had the original paper work I’m sure it would say and I’ve reshafted them so I don’t have the serial numbers to confirm with Clay if he had his hands on these.

Yes it does, and also for @BCC1898the rule is saying the putter cannot be “Locked” above the elbow not that the putter cannot extend a bit beyond. It’s defining what the putter can be pressed against….not putter length.

Look at it this way….a piece of equipment is either legal or not….it is not dependent on who is using it.
