I am not a big fan of black golf shoes but might have to snag these. I have the white as well and was impressed at how comfortable those are straight out of the box.

No, but all the chat board Nike economist on here will try to justify it even though we know it cost them about $15 to $20 to produce the shoe... But it's their money and they can spend it how they want...

It was for me…i had the OG’s and liked them so I bought the retros on release day and had hoped I’d hear angels sing when I tried them on…they were great but to me, not worth the $240 so had to return.

Meh, the average top of the line golf shoe is $200+ now. Footjoy premieres are like $220 and people have no problem paying for those. For a sneaker style golf shoe these are some of the better looking ones so the price is worth it to me. Is it expensive? Sure. But so is everything now. It's not like Nike is charging wildly over what would be considered market rate for a top of the line golf shoe

There's no tech which makes this shoe top of the line...Maybe 10 yrs ago, but definitely not now...

No tech makes any shoe worth 200 dollars but they are in fact near 200 for the flagship models in all brands. Anything TW is 20-40 dollars more expensive than a regular Nike branded item. Maybe it's because they pay him absurd amounts of money because people buy his products at an astonishing rate. What other golfer has their logo on pieces of clothing available to the public?

When it comes to Nike "tech", it seems to me all of the new tech has gone toward making the shoe more comfortable, not necessarily a better golf shoe.  For example I find the ZIT NEXTs to be really comfortable shoes but not necessarily stable - a nice shoe for casual rounds.  When I am playing a tournament, I go back to my old Jordan Trainer ST Gs because those feel much more stable to me even though they supposedly have inferior, old tech.  

 

Of course, if you don't need stability, then it doesn't matter, just get something comfy.

My Jordan 4's were $220 and I justified it by the spikes vs a standard Jordan for $160 (still kinda ridiculous). But a 10 year old shoe they decided to remake? That's just greedy. Not that it's a surprise for Nike to be greedy, just look at the Jordan 4 SB. 🤣

Less people wanting to purchase is good for me.

 

In Aus they are $310 and the Jordan 6 is $290. $20 more for the TW13 vs a shoe that is so horrible using tech from 1991 with spikes stuck on. Easy choice!

You can’t put a price on something that works great for you. If they check all the boxes for you it’s a no brainer. If not then you get something else that will check all the boxes for you.

Yeah I mean clearly the shoes don't cost anywhere near $240 for nike to make them but if people will pay it then it's not outrageous. Of all the things on this site that are utter wastes of money in the grand scheme of things, this doesn't even get on the radar lol.

I think it is hilarious that they rereleased a Tiger Woods shoe from a decade ago, that Tiger won't even wear, charge like it is top end FJ or Ecco etc. and people are buying them like crazy. Nike know what they are doing.

Maybe people just like the look and especially the feel of the OG TW, and a little nostalgia helps justify the $240? Been wanting these for 10 years and personally I wouldn't be caught dead in anything Ecco or FJ(outside maybe non saddle Premiere).

I needed some black golf shoes and grabbed a pair of Infinity Tour Next on Poshmark (new, no box) for a whopping $48 shipped to me. 👍🏻
 

I always have to size up in Nike so went to a 12. I think they will be OK with some thin Smartwool socks, but I could have gone up from the 12 I think. 
 

Will report back after Saturday’s round.

My last pair of TW13's got me 10 years of life. They finally started separating last season.  I would say, given how well they hold up and how they do not crease, it's worth it.  In 13 they were $180 and it was expensive then, but I got my money's worth. I'm going to buy a second pair too this season, I don't want to live in a world where I don't have TW13's lol.

I said I was going to swear off Nikes but seeing these limited ones figured why not. Still have to figure out a lace pattern so my left foot isn't sore, if not then these will be relegated to something.

Inflation adjustment is pretty much dead on. $180 in 2013 is $235 now.

It’s just a shame they didn’t update materials at all. Could have easily done React foam and something to improve the stank that comes from no ventilation. Obviously it all would cut into their profits.
