Best Pistol Grip style

What is everyone using for your grip? Preferred pistol style grip. Between a few. I understand putter grips are really personal preference. Just looking for some thoughts. Here are a few of the grips I am considering. Super Stroke tour, Super stroke 1.0, Golf pride Tour only cord grip, Lamkin deep etched, or the stock pistolini Scotty grip.

I think I want something just a bit larger than the original stock Scotty pistolini. Largest grip I would consider would be the Super Stroke 1.0

A few others to consider: Iomic midsize and IClassic Midsize, Lamkin Sinkfit Deep V Midsize, GP Tour SNSR Contour and Contour Pro Firm (used to be called Tour Van) 75cc.

I prefer the Scotty pistolini and pistolini plus, but I’ve just put a golf pride tour tradition on my Monterey. It’s a little thinner (unbranded pingman grip apparently) and is lovely to use. Was also £11 compared to the £40 for the pistolini that’s difficult to get.

Obviously we’re all a bit biased towards what we’ve become most accustom to,  but i’ve tried various grips and, personally, nothing beats the Odyssey White Hot pro grip. It’s just a bit larger than the standard Scotty Pistolini. More similarly sized to the Pistolini Plus but a bit lighter at 69grams, much grippier and comfortable/natural to hold (IMO). Can buy it from GolfGalaxy

Yes the deep etched is very nice. Just slightly larger than the pistolini plus feels good. I have that in my MCraft with the corded grip feels even better than the standard. Just can’t find the corded for sale without mizuno on it

I agree about Deep Etched and also really like the Deep-V Mid. Similar overall shape, slightly larger and of course different construction. It's great. Only problem is I'm not sure if Lamkin is making it anymore, some places don't have them in stock anymore.

If you like the smooth Ping blackout style, but want just a little larger grip, this one is great.  I have it on my putter and like it very much.

I'd do dirty things for a corded pistolero plus. I love the "axe handle" but not in love with the slickness they develop over time. Still use a normal one though

Try as I might, I can't stop putting the Ping PP58 midsize on my putters. It's a good weight (78-80 grams), the rubber is an unbeatable material (nicer than Golf Pride's own line, which is weird), and it feels just right. I don't even care if there's a mismatch in brands. It's on my Odyssey.

Huge fan of the pp58 midsize and the sink fit skinny. If lamkin made that sink fit skinny in a cord it would be my dream.

There's the Golf Pride Pro Only Cord - Red Star and then everything else.

I like the golf pride red star. The pp58 is nice but the newer version (which I recently tried) felt too big and soft for me.

I'm right there with you on this.  I've used the cord and non-cord for a long time now, and can't find anything that I like better than it.  I have the non-cord version on my Kingston KP1 and another on my Toulon Las Vegas H4.5

Yes, that's kind of middle of the road for a rubber grip.  GP Tour SNSR midsize pistol is 90g.  Lamkin Sinkfit is 120g.

You certainly could opt for a lighter one.  There are lighter ones and heavier ones.  Hence the term, "middle of the road" for a putter grip.  😉

Couldn’t agree more. First tried one during a putter fitting and couldn’t get over how ok it felt. Ended buying the blackout version on eBay. Great grip. Mines on a betti.

How much smaller does the pistol GT tour feel vs the pistol GT 1.0 .

Circumference is noticeably smaller. I wouldn’t want any bigger than the 1.0 or any smaller than the tour. I could be comfortable with anything in between
