Looks great, the Project X by the tip is a nice add, they should start doing the HZRDUS line that way

This looks like something I want to test. Sounds like they did some double blind tests, presumably against Ventus and mitsu and 75% picked this one.

@TrueTemper, can you speak more on this shaft line please?

"The profile of the Denali Blue showcases an EI profile that starts with a stiffer butt section for more stability and confidence that the shaft will keep up. From there, the mid-section is a straight taper concept that seeks to optimize the feel as well as energy transfer as it flows into the mid-stiff tip that is designed specifically to work optimally with the current designs of modern clubheads. According to what we know, the Denali Blue is considered a mid-launch and mid-spin shaft. While some internet golfers may initially guffaw at that aspect, keep in mind this is designed to work with the current trends of club design and to meet needs on Tour, which through initial adoption rates it is more than accomplishing"

Smoother feel than HZRDUS.  The action is in the middle of the shaft, while the grip/butt section will be stiff, as well as the tip section.

Could this be their replacement for the even flow line?

Think it's more their answer to Ventus and trying to grab some of that market.

hoping these will be made with 70-ton pitch fiber as well. Ventus velocore is the best where the 70-ton carbon material compliments their tech. Wonder why companies keep making their premium line of shafts with 40-ton carbon i.e. mitsubishi

Which line of MCA premium shafts use a 40 ton carbon fiber? The only one i know of top of my head is the tensei 1K white

All the kai'li series red blue and white all have their in house 70 ton pitch carbon fiber mr70

All their diamana's PD, GT and TB have MR70

tensei 1K blue and orange with the same mr70

Its fine you favor the ventus line it's a great shaft. I actually believe its the way they wrap their spread tow fabric over the prepreg that gives their unique feel. But you shouldnt knock an OEM based on lack of facts not using certain materials.

It's cheaper to go with the 40T.  MCA is unique IMO in that they use 40T but add a bunch of other materials to enhance feel and stabilize certain sections of the shaft.  If I remember correctly, GD uses 50T but add T1100 and M40X for their more recent shafts.  I had the Speeder TR and Platinum Speeder a few years ago and those were 90T.

I don't think MR70 is the same as 70T as it only applies to the tip section.  Regardless, I how MCA does things even if their shafts are 40T.  The application of the other materials make their modern shafts feel smooth while enhancing stability.

Mca: 40 ton carbon shafts with 70 ton materials/ tungsten and boron for tip/grip stability.

fujikura Ventus: full shaft is 70 ton carbon with 40 ton materials to enhance feel.

70ton carbon>toracaya>40 ton carbon. Strength wise. Unless you manufacture shafts I wouldn’t go by your knowledge based on your comprehension skills.

Very similar profile to things like the OG Ventus Blue, Diamana and Tensei Blue, almost all of the Graphite Design Tour AD catalog. What's sometimes referred to as the "soft mid" archetype.

In manufacturing of steel and aluminum parts but use the same mechanical property units. Prob should of clarified that cause original text made it sound like they dont use 70 ton pitch fiber at all when more than likely they and others get some of their prepegs from mitsubishi since they manufacture those.

What makes having a shaft that has 70ton carbon fiber along the whole shaft better than ones that dont? Yes a 70 ton carbon fiber prepreg has more strength but that is in tensile strength. Those high tensile strength prepregs lack tensile modulous (strength under load or stress) compared to others like a 40ton carbon fiber do. Hence you see other materials like TiNi, boron, aluminum, etc to marry the two.

Like said earlier ventus is a great shaft but just because they use a 70 ton carbon fiber throughout the whole shaft doesnt deem others that dont inferior.

I love the graphics. From the description sounds like a mid-soft "Blue" profile. Something to compete with the very popular Ventus Blue, Tensei Blue, most of the Tour-AD designs, etc. Excited to hear more about it. I like PX graphite shafts, they are always very stable.

I was looking through after my fitting the other day, but I noticed that there's a LOT of tour players that are moving away from the ultra stiff shafts throughout and into more of the blue profile with all of the low launching, low spinning shafts and into something with a much more flexible middle of the shaft. Some of the highest swingspeed players are favoring the ventus blue TR rather than the black profiles.  This seems to be catering to that same market.  They talked a lot about profiles that "fit todays drivers better" which makes a lot of sense.

Two reasons for this.  TR Blue is more stable than the OG Blue yet still retains that somewhat smooth feel.  Also, the modern driver head is super low spin compared to the ones back in the day so the little bit extra spin compared to the low/low shafts, helps even the longest of hitters.  Rory, Woodland, and Adam Scott are good examples of bombers who have the TR Blue in the bag.  However, the majority of long hitters on tour still favor low/low shafts.
