Just did a search of WRX for the word classy and found ~10,000 results. 

 

 

People have used a version of the word classy to describe everything from a golf course, to a stamp on the sole of an iron, to an interview and a belt.  One guy called the ferrules on his new irons real classy.  Lest we forget classy responses, classy looks, classy golf carts, classy events, classy signage, classy pro shop, classy branding and the classy LPGA.  There have been mentions of classy casual wear, things that are simple and classy, classy galleries, classy head covers an one of my favorites, classy hoodies.  Adam Scott was once depicted as playing classy.  Drinking after golf was described as not the classiest of moves.  I read a post that shared TV times for an upcoming event and someone called the post a classy contribution.  I saw posts calling a variety of things very classy, pretty classy, edgy but classy, super classy, classic classy and a crowd pleaser, wow, that's classy.  One guy described his ticket office experience at a PGA event as classy as it gets.  A member posted that not only the player but his entire family was classy.  Another guy posted using three different versions of the word classy in two sentences.  One guy described being classy as knowing when to speak about something and knowing when not to speak at all.  Phil was described as classy over 450 times.

Hopefully he’s healthy and feeling good. If so his game will get there eventually. That 68 should give him a little confidence.
 

I may have just missed it but I don’t think they’ve shown a single full swing from him this week. Just a few putts.

Not really.  I found for every post leaning positive, there was an equal and opposite reaction post leaning negative. 

 

Case in point regarding Phil: 

I did not filter by date.  I simply did a classy word search of classy.   The 450 "phil is classy" posts were matched equally in number by 450 "phil is not classy" posts (401 were posted by yours truly).

 

I did other research as well and discovered an even split on the following lead topics:

 

White belts love them/hate them - 50/50

Took a fake trip to a tour event / took a  real trip to a tour event - 50/50

Tiger likers / Tiger haters - 50/50 

LIV / PGA - 50/50

Michelle Wie's marriage in trouble / not in trouble - 50/50 

Paul Azinger commentating good / bad - 50/50

Goat Jack / Tiger - 50/50  

 

 

It is my conclusion, WRX maintains a very unique and impressive posting homeostasis and very well might be the most credible posting web forum in the world.

No. They have been transformative for many professionals (Adam Scott, Camilo Villegas and Zalatoris) and even more amateurs. Once you go torqueless I don't see why you would go back.

At Hero:

 

R1 - -5.9 SG Putting (I believe he blew up on the last few holes from short ranges?)

R2 - +1.88

R3 - -0.36

R4 - -0.63

 

So he's definitely playing better than his averages last season (if you subtract that first round it looks even better).

Good point. I was only aware of his first round putting debacle. I hope,you’re right. I like him and the PGAT needs another star.

R1 started really bad he made 4 short range putts towards the end but he missed 5 putts inside of 6 feet before that stretch

there are plenty of stars on tour but the media coverage determines who we see  and sometime they have a tendency to show the same guys while someone else is lighting the course up, show us the players LET US decide who the stars are
