OK I’m glad it’s just not me. I was thinking the same thing when I saw him putt yesterday. I think he needs a support group! Maybe some gummy’s pre-round if you know what I mean.😂

The fact it looked like that after 6 months off and a complete change of putting style is not a good sign.

I tried one of those putters, and couldn’t use it. It’s not as easy as Glover makes it look.

Everything about it looks unnatural.. from the setup to the actual stroke with his head moving everywhere.. hard to watch.

I have absolutely no ill will towards Zalatoris as a person, but I get sick pleasure from watching someone with this horrendous looking stick putt so badly with it.

Although I tried a belly putter when they first came out, I'm far from an expert on the long sticks.

 

But he's using the broomstick and then jerking his arms around like the thing is 34". No shoulder rock at all.

 

Look at the difference to Glover's stroke

Exactly what I alluded to in a previous post. He is getting too much hands into it and trust me it will cause even more problems with a broomstick.

I had used them before like 15 years ago just for the heck of it. With my back problems I went to my old one right before Lucas switched. Like Will I had to learn to keep the hands out of it. I was always a handsy pop stroke putter anyhow. I have gotten confident and decent with it after a lot of practice. I have an extremely heavy one used for training in the house I practice the set up and stroke with to promote muscle memory. By using mine I am able to practice and play effectively without pain.

He is manipulating the putter head in his stroke. The one thing you don't want to do with a LAB putter.

Exactly what he is doing and you do not want to do that with any broomstick----- Good to hear from you again have not heard from you in a few moons now
