Also, the point still stands: the clubhead's COG is off the shaft, and you're almost certainly not rotating it around it either.

Doesn't sound bad here, but I'm not the only person who is going to notice that those shots are a hell of a lot closer than you seem to think. If you had a launch monitor there capable of accurately measuring dynamic loft and AoA, they'd be pretty close to each other. Launch varied by about 3°, and even your lower one came off at about 47° The second came off ~50°.

 

Also, and again… nobody's said that a pitch shot shouldn't be one where you use the bounce. It's a straw man to keep talking as if they have.

 

P.S. Carpet ≠ grass, dirt, etc.

As for first shot, whatever the launch the result was terrible. Would have flow 5 yards short with no spin.

 

Remember there are things we cannot see. Best way put it is too say my initial "lag" setting would be me moving the handle from say  to 6:00 to 3:00 without torque and disruption of the clubhead. The clubhead is then going to "fall" again (again describing in words I do not like no matter the word because it gets away from the physics) and you allow the handle to rotate around. Whatever I'm doing with my hands and body is just to aid this. Handle is traveling/rotating to a pinned clubhead which it seeks to rotate around. Hands and body are just allowing it.

 

FYI for others, thinking about this during your swing won't help lol.

 

Also a lot of what we are saying just ends up letting you use the leading edge more effectively. I like the look of it high and then lowering as it gets into the turf. Keeps contact low on the face.

The video is irrelevant (and clearly just rotates around a point near the hosel, not the COG of the clubhead), and you're not answering the many questions and issues posed to you earlier, so how about you just go back to this:

First time I’ve seen my swing on film in a while. Loving the left foot toe tap trigger. Means I’m definitely engaged with the shot. Don’t think my triggers the same on a full swing tho. Will have to see.

Rewatch the BH video. More bounce, leading edge hits higher. Lower flight more spin. Ohhh but it was a pitch shot!!!! lol 
 

Let’s open and raise the leading edge again even more. Engage the turf more with more speed. Increase spin and lower flight.

 

This is not a full swing and trapping low.

Here's some video if you want it:

 

The first shot wasn't a great one. It was "okay" but it flew a little too high and had less spin than the other two.

 

The GCQuad screenshot isn't from any of the three shots in the video, nor is the photo which is just showing the distance of the shot.

 

The last time I played Southern Pines, I was showing a friend some things and hit off the downslope about five feet below the right side of the 16th green (I couldn't see the putting surface). I hit a lower launching spinny shot to a short-sided flag that went in the hole. (I was showing how Rory's shot at the Ryder Cup, because he could actually hit more than 10° down, could launch SO low yet still have a ton of spin - if you can hit 20° down with 25° of shaft lean (and thus still about 55° spin loft), that ball will launch at like 18° or something and have a ton of spin).

 

So, not only can you definitely learn to hit more short-game shots without using the bounce, as we've continually said: pros are not "using the bounce" or hitting 6", 4", or even 1" behind 50+ yard distance wedge shots. To say that you should hit EVERY shot or even the majority of your shots by getting into the ground well behind the ball is folly.

Literally no other productive conversation can happen in this thread until this happens, because i'd bet my irresponsibly hoarded staff bag full of golf shafts that the *actual* data would show what everyone that wants to see data has been yelling about and would cause a severe goal post shift in the conversation. I was able to snag one of r2l's videos of him and cavs working on untorquing the shaft around the clubhead center of gravity and then hitting fatted flops
