I’d really love to see a slant neck on a DS72 for a retail release. 
 

Im getting close to booking a PLD Custom appt and build a custom DS72 with a slant neck. I just love that head shape.

The DS72 is so good.. I'm a slight arc guy, and like the flow of the DS in the stroke. It's heavier than I'm used to which is amazing for fast greens, but struggle a little on slow greens.

I think it's called "gun metal" by Ping. But it looks similar to the starshot finish.

Love the patina finish Valor (?) mallet.  Always wanted a copper-finish mallet from Ping but I don't think they have ever released one.

Those soles are fantastic!  Tired of all the billboards on commercial putters; just so cluttered with text, paint, and unnecessary lines/designs.

That's a Prime Tyne 4 with sight lines. I wish they brought that to retail.

Here is another one. It is really hard to see with the light, but the putters with sight lines do not seem to have the 'thicker wings' near the putter face, which the Tyne 4 models still have. I think that they are different models.  

 

May be wishful thinking though

Ping is really saying "f it we want the putter dominance again" and they'll probably get it soon. Think they should like the 2023 Milled line offer some variations on the PLD Milled line but that might get too close to the PLD Customs.

Maybe they refined the shape a touch. I really liked the PLD Tyne but felt it was a bit too small. The shape does look better in this photo but could just be the lines making it look that way.
