Yeah give a putter to Morikawa who's a putter ho and changes putters more than some of us. Hopefully he keeps it in the bag for a year if not Logan's batting 0-3.

Reserve putters are priced way down, could be the end of that experiment.

Really hope TaylorMade lets Olson make plenty of putters without the grooves on the face. Hate to see the usual big business turning a cool thing into something not that appealing anymore. Aluminum face inserts have their place but not in every putter.

Logan Olson essentially becoming the Scotty Cameron of Taylormade is one of the coolest developments / acquisitions in the golf equipment world that I've seen.  His work looks like top shelf quality, I hope a lot more of of the TM staff on the men's and women's side start to game his putters.  I wonder if a similar putter head to this one would finally replace the Odyseey White Hot Pro that's been in Tommy Fleetwood's bag for ages. Deep horizontal grooves in the face would sound pretty muted, somewhat similar to how the White Hot Pro insert sounds I would think.  I'd love to see it

TP Reserve line about to get a refresh. They aren’t going anywhere. And the Olson putters are intended for a different audience with deeper pockets. Not everyone can drop $850 retail on a putter, even though the quality is excellent.

Agreed! His stuff is excellent. IMO, Logan Olson and Tyson Lamb are both a cut above the rest when it comes to smaller premium lines. I’m a huge TaylorMade guy, so I’m excited to see where this Olson acquisition goes.

He could have made her the exact same thing she had as well to compare. So not really apples to apples comparison.

The insert is most likely Aluminum which is much lighter than the steel the putter is made of, so they can use tungsten and add more of the weight of the putter in the weights in the bottom.  The heavier you can make those weight, the more resistant to twist on off center hits, making it more forgiving

At the same level? These custom jobs are obviously nicer than retail. But if we are talking toir putter vs your putter? Maybe Olsen is doing a few more things but I am not sure one anser is better than another anser. Lol
