The top of that bag is so aggressive that the 3w grip just couldn’t hang.

The Dot Version of the Qi10 is a Qi10 Core with enough Hot Melt towards the front of the head that gives it the identical CG of the Qi10 LS but with the same "forgiveness" profile as a Qi10 core. Seems like everyone hates the LS because the actual RPM difference between the two models isn't significant enough to warrant playing the less forgiving head but guys seem to like the launch characteristics of the LS better

This is straight from a TM Tour Rep btw

awesome info!

- Something that continues to go long off the tee in the fairway
- Something that is a fairway finder when needed and long
- Something that high, consistent and helps with par 5’s
-  Something to help with long par3’s and short par 4’s

-  Something metal, lots of them and go the gaps I need
- Something metal, 2x of them and helps me 120y and in
- Putters - limited rotation because I cannot afford misses

Golf is what you make of it.  Play grateful and accepting. We are all lucky to have it.

Rather than expecting lets all try and appreciate instead.

I didn't know who this guy was and just found out he's 16. Good lord

Yep - he plays out of my club back home and goes to my old school. He's quite good. Beat Miles Russell in the junior Ryder Cup last year I believe. His dad's a pro and his mum was on the LPGA Tour for a while I think. I'm intrigued to see how he gets on.

Minor correction, you can't have identical CG with the same "forgiveness profile"  because where the CG is determines said forgiveness. If the CG was the same, the MOI/forgiveness would be too. The Dot head is just a tweener that sits between the Core and LS heads.

Apparently Scheffler was the catalyst for this version based on that recent article that came out, and if you look back at his TM drivers he was doing this with the previous "LS" models in reverse. His original Stealth driver had a lighter front weight and a heavier back weight, and the Stealth2+ basically sat much closer to that spot out of the box, hence getting very comfortable with it and taking longer to shift away. The Qi10 LS then went a little more extreme like the original Stealth with tons of weight forward, but for whatever reason they didn't go with the same formula again, maybe because that front weight on the LS didn't have lighter versions yet available, or maybe some other reason. Regardless, the Dot head was born as a slightly lower spinning Core model to fill the rather large gap between the LS and Core in terms of CG.

Hence why Callaway has had this type of tour-only model (Paradym Tour, TD max, ST TD, ST Max LS +, etc). I dont know why its such a "secret" that tour guys want the forgiveness (spin retention and MOI to an extent), too.

I don’t think it’s a secret, but whereas you see all those models in play of Callaway bags - I think I’ve ONLY seen the dot/version 2 of the Qi10 core driver and a handful of LS heads.

Dang. Seems like the new Qi has that tendency to go left on the guys.

I will say the Stealth sits a little upright.

Jordan was completely lost with an iron or wedge in his hand.. hit great tee shots and pretty good putts, but I've never seen him 40+ feet from the hole after a wedge, from the fairway, multiple times. It was shocking.

I mean, in a time where even 40 year olds are ripped and healthy on average (common sight in big european cities), it's kind of expected for a testosterone loaded teenager to be some kind of super solider.
