New putter purchased from a fellow lefty! LH plumbers neck QB6. OHHH YEAHHH!

Went to Bettinardi for a fitting about 6-7 years ago and ended up with this. They told me it was a prototype made for Vijay. Any Bettinardi experts here that can tell me more about it? The model, material, etc?

I imagine when you order gets you put in the build list if your getting any spec changes

I’m surprised that the announcement was so far before the actual release date. As a lefty I look forward to trying the Inovai 8.0, looks rad. Hopefully the headcovers aren’t as gigantic as I’ve heard they are!

Agreed. I'm debating between the Inovai 8 or the Scotty 7.5 if they're released to the public

PGA Superstore in Plano, TX had the blacked out limited edition Inovai 8 in the store 2 weeks ago. My buddy bought it.

I hope Bettinardi's quality control is better on the covers for the Inovai 8.0 putters than they were for the 6.0.  The velcro on the tab wasn't stitched very well and separated very quickly with little use - I contacted them and they sent me another one that had the same issue.  After a third cover did the same my wife sewed it on and it was better, but not great for a $400 putter.  Love the putter, but the QC on the covers could be better.

I have a 3.0 and it’s pretty good, but still could have a little more Velcro.

I’m intrigued to see the new 8.0 & 6.0 as well.  Love the blacked out 6.0 from the hive, just never had a chance to pick one up.  Especially with this new release with the head size being a touch smaller.

I think I’ve looked at the web page of the putter I ordered like 20 times since I ordered it haha hopefully early March is like March 1st shipping.

Very excited for the 8.0.  I wish they would go toward magnets on the covers.  Seems like a no brainer for what they charge on these things.

Their tour covers are even velcro and some of those go for more than an 8.0 costs.

As much as I want to throw money at some of their cool headcovers, I could never justify it for velcro. My queen bee headcover's velcro didn't even last two months before it was barely hanging on for dear life. Switch to magnets already, jeez!

I pre-ordered a 6.0 slant neck. Hopefully it arrives in early March so I can have around a month with it before league play starts.
