Yeah it does but the 9.5 460 will not work for me. F has a Speeder TS 8.2, FD has a DI 8x, those are the two best shafts that I have tested in each head.

You mentioned earlier that you tested the whiteboard 80/Fd combo. Did you try the whiteboard with the F? And was it the stock D+ 80 white or the W-series? Just curious, it would seem the D+ 80 white and the Speeder TS 8.2 would be very close in profile.

I played the the D+/ FD combo for a few months now.... Compared to the Speeder TS in both the F and FD heads the D+ launches a little lower and spins close to the same. The Speeder is easier to hit the ball high with, especially off the ground. I could easily play the D+, Speeder or DI8 in the FD. I think the DI8 is the best shaft for the FD though, it get's up easy and can be flighted low no problem.

Thanks. I may end up trying out the Speeder if I find my launch angle getting too low with the D+ 80.

Nice write up sounds like the 915 is perfect for you with those numbers. Will the D4 tempt you to try and test?

I'm setting up my own testing, so far I have my gamer sldr 460 against the sldr 430 and R15 460. Def want to throw the 915 in the mix as well.

[*]Awesome that they offer so many lofts including low loft
[*]Amazing combination of distance and forgiveness (Distance without compromise)
[*]Along with the G30 (Neck and neck) they are the worst feeling drivers that I tested. I honestly did not realize how bad it was until after hitting so many other heads side by side.

The R15 430 is really good and if I continue to see on the course what I have been seeing so far it will be in the bag over the D3 simply because of how much more fun it is to hit (a lot to do with the feel). With that said the D4 might be the ultimate head and will be on the radar....

Completely agree with all of your bullet points, especially the last one. I loved mine but the sound and feel were awful. I didn't realize how bad it was until I hit the Vapor Pro, which I ordered immediately. I would not be opposed to revisiting a D4 or a hot melted D3 in the future though.

Agree with scratch, a 430 /460 R15 with a 8.5 could be VERY INTERESTING. Not going to lie I have an R15 coming my way, the feel is intoxicating, but the numbers coupled with that Speeder 757 TS EVO are even better. IMOP best stock shaft offering out there.

Really like this thread especially the pics ON course which is the end all be all of testing. Not enough people get stuff on the course where it matters which I know can be difficult. Good stuff.

As for your above statement about the 915 line I agree 100%.

While I know others have come up with work-arounds for the feel and sound of the 915 line, I agree with your assessment of it completely. I hit the D3 and AeroBurner a few days ago along with a couple other heads. AeroBurner felt and sounded the way I expected the D3 to, and vice versa. The sound and feel of the 915 drivers is a marked departure from the norm for Titleist.

I have dwindled it down to one of two setups... 915 15° F/ Speeder TS 8.2 and 915 15° FD/ DI 8x.... I hit them both on Trackman earlier this week and the numbers were pretty similar. F setup is 11° launch and 3500 spin, FD is 10° 3600 spin (both off the deck). I do like the look, sound and feel better of the FD but the F is easier to hit and elevate from the deck. I am going to get both setups on the course to see how they do before I make any decisions.

For what it's worth the Oban Black 85x (which will be on the BST soon) was 10° 4300 and the stock D+ was 9° 4000.

Yeah D+ 90.... VTS is lower spin but launches about the same, the stiffer tip and 100 gram really makes it anti left, it's a lot of club for a hybrid. Not the longest setup but very consistent and straight. It's also a lot easier to keep the flight down because of the lower spin.

Oh yeah… There is nothing these irons can't do… Fairway, irons and wedges are all locked…. I want to mess with the D4 just because driver is the only non Titleist club in the bag. I also have a brand new HD and raw Fuji Speeder HB 90 that I was going to put together but might not even bother.
