The New Ping G LS is really good. I don't like the stock shaft though.

Hit it on Tarckman with a Speeder 757 Evo and liked it but I actually got better numbers with the G30LS. I hit 6 new head offerings yesterday, the M1 and D2 gave me better numbers than anything else. For whatever reasons's in my swing I need low loft..... M1 8.5 and D2 7.5 are just a lot easier for me to get really good numbers with compared to other heads that only get stamped as low as 9.0. I would need to put an ultra stout shaft in some other heads get them around the same launch numbers and that really doesn't interest me.

How's dispersion? Only issue with the low lofts is less bulge an roll so accuracy can become an issue. But i'm the same I tend to get my best numbers from low lofts but usually there's a point of diminishing returns.

I will have to wait to get some rounds in with the M1 before I can give it a fair shake. My numbers in general with these lower lofted heads are around 2000 give or take and 12* launch give or take..... So if I go to a 9.5 my spin goes up into the 2400 range and the distance drops pretty substantially. I have not noticed a wide enough dispersion in the low lifted heads vs standard loft heads to sacrifice the distance loss. Those numbers are solid strikes, there is a lot better dispersion in regards to distance in the low loft vs standard. If I heel a 7.5 head it spins at 2400 and still carries a bunker at 265. If I hit the same shot with the 9.5 head it spins close to 3k and is in the bunker. TPI, Kingdom and Cool Clubs have all fit me into their lowest launching heads so I just go with what the experts say.... The Kingdom actually fit me into a 9.5 SLDR 430 and it was way too much club.... Ended up having them replace it with a 10.5 head.

Well if you got fit into those heads by different sources then that's all the validation you need. The 430 SLDR was a beast when hit on the screws but when heeled or toed it was lame ducks. Interested to see how the M1 works for ya.

My swing is not that fast, I think 114 is the highest I have seen on Trackman. But it's generally about 2* out and 2-4* up so its a high draw. I increase loft quite a bit so I'm turning a 7.5* into 11*.

This logic is mind blowing.

1 click lower and the vertical weight 3/4 weight back away from the face.

With your AoA, having the weight further back makes a lot of sense. Helps the MOI a little bit as well.

Was just about to ask what you were playing now. Thanks for the update, looking solid. What did the M1 beat out other than the 915?

I tested the 915, M1, XR 16 Pro and G LS. It was just a one day Trackman fitting type of test and going into it I wanted the M1 anyways because I thought it looked cool.... It just so happens that I was getting the best numbers with the M1. I have played about 5 rounds with it and it's been pretty good so far.... I don't think it is any longer than anything else that I have recently owned but it feels and sounds really good. My misses have also been pretty manageable with it.

How do you like the Lined 2 Ball?

Very stable and easy to line up.... It's won a few $$$ for me so it's staying.

The Marxman in that series is also a nice stick.

If there was anything I could change about the Works 2 Ball it would be the insert... The Metal portion makes it feel a little metallic almost, I would much prefer the insert that is in the Versa line. I might grab a milled 2 ball but I have not seen a lined one.

Just grab one and use car pinstriping to make the line. Less than $2 at autozone and you get a perfect line that you can peel off easily if needed. DO NOT ATTEMPT A SHARPIE. It doesnt work out well.

I'm sure LabWorx could do something cool with an MXM 2 Ball. ;)
