Not bad at all from Callaway. I agree with others that I would like to see an "at address" shot first before making a full declaration but, from what we can see, they look pretty solid.

Big props on PXi stock shaft though.

I'm not all that familiar w/ the PXi, can you give me a brief rundown of the benefits? I was not a fan of PX or PX Flighted b/c they ballooned on me, badly. I currently use C-Tapers & was hoping Callaway would offer KBS @ no upcharge b/c Phil & Ernie are now KBS guys.

It's supposed to be a lighter and much softer feeling version of the traditional PX. I haven't had the chance to try them out, but a friend of mine has put them in his wedges and says he loves them. They supposedly launch a tad higher and [b]spin a tad more - edit: according to the TrueTemper post on the previous page, they actually spin less -[/b] than the original PX. They are extremely smooth, DG/KBS Tour smooth.
I'm sure that the KBS Tour will be a non-upcharge shaft, as is the case with Titleist. I doubt the C-Tapers will have no upcharge though. They're quite expensive (although the same can be said about the PXi) and don't necessarily fit the majority of the golfers out there. On top of that, Ernie uses the KBS Tour and Phil uses the Tour V2.

Decent looking, but I think there is still too much going on for badging. Prefer the more simple Mizuno MP type look. Is this a 1 piece forging? Like where Callaway is headed with these however.

I went to PX website and they have a shaft fitting. I went through it and was fit for the PXi 5.5. That's the first time I ever went through one of these fittings and the shaft matched what was being offered with the club I was interested in. Serendipity?

Yep. This is just step 1 in Callaway's efforts. TM will sell 20x the amount of RBladez than Cally will sell of these. Forged blades are 5% of the market. But boy, these are nice

Great looking iron. I doubt I have the game for these, but it looks as if this blade seems to have a little more perimeter weighting for added forgiveness. Great job Calloway. Now bring the Protype IX series to the US.
