I've tabbed through like 20 pages and I can't seem to find it... does anyone know the head size of the fairway woods? Thinking of going with an XHP 3, and teetering between an XHP 18 Hybrid or a RFX 5 wood. Thank you!
Go with the XHP 18 hybrid. Frigging awesome off the tee, off the deck and out other rough and more workable around stuff to hit you get out of trouble. Really a true upgrade over the Razr X Tour.
Thanks Golfware! I think I am actually going to do that exactly.. i just ordered a 20 XHP, I'm gonna play that for a bit and see if i need to fill the gap between that and either a 3w or 4w. I did have a chance to hit them, and just like you said.. they really are nice!! Thanks for the response

I upgraded to a RIP 85 shaft... any experience?

@tbowles - Attas 3 sounds like a BA shaft, I'd love to try one out, but they be steep in price!
It really is a BA shaft. I've never had a point and shoot shaft until that one (TourSpx'd of course). That's why I'm hesistant to let it go. But the numbers I'm getting from the B.Asha are better.

I didn't know you were such a Wishon fan! I just sold my THI919 driver. I had 10 things listed (granted, they're all older models) and that was the only thing to sell so far. He makes great sticks, no question. If it weren't for the CallaWRX trip, I was going to order a fairway wood from him as well. I have a set of 555C/Ms in my basement with C-Tapers in them. He makes great stuff.

It's really great stuff, but I'm going back to Cally after a long departure. But his stuff flat out works.

Dscvr, you have all the toys, huh? I'm not complaining, love the available info. I havent played a ton of hybrids in the past. Only shaft i really have experience with is a Fit On 360 and Aldila NV. I was going to go with the 105 but to be honest.. the reviews scared me! Seemed like the 105 played pretty stiff.

Funny...I need either 105X or just 85-90 Stiff--which I lag to square or a touch open for a baby fade...anything in 85-95X I hook the everloving #$#)($#_ out of it...and I DON'T HOOK anything!! Go figure..but I get a nice high launch and 3-4 yard fade with the Stiff, so that is what I am going with for now. the 105X is a beast..either go hard or go home!

I've been all-Wishon (except wedges and putter) for a couple of years now. Never found a driver or fairway that could kick out the 919 and 949 combo. But I'm going to give the Xtreme and X Hot Pro a proper audition for those roles.

If this has already been discussed i apologize. I just got ahold of three ust vts 6x shafts. I was surprised when i hit them all great in the 10.5 RFX and had no luck with any of them in the 9.5 RFX. I normally play 9.5. My driver swing speed is around 110 but i am not a high spin player. I figure that the 10.5 works well for me because it is a low spin head.........Any input????

Yeah, I normally play 9.0-9.5* and [s]if[/s] when I get an RFX head, I'm about 99% sure I'll get a 10.5* head for this very reason.

I know people get upset that they can't buy just a head, but when is the last time a major OEM offered that to customers? I haven't been around golf forever, but in my 16+ years around the golf business I have never seen that going on.
thats not the point

be bold be brave do something different to other OEM's and you will gain customers not lose them

If Callaway marketing had any brains which Im sure they do thy could even offer a head with tip so you can retip a shaft you might have

or full club or just the head.....give us options!! we are not asking them to send us to the moon? ITS NOT that difficult

Companiesmaybe think we are stupid. maybe think the internet doesnt exist and people dont talk.

I will hopefully snare a white 10.5 head from ebay at some point.....

I'm surprised with my 9.5. I hit it with the black tie just as high as I hit my g20 10.5 with the devotion. Still waiting on my new tip to try the devo in the callaway to really see what happens. the matrix is a stiff though, the devo an 05. I initially wanted a 10.5 but out of the 2 I was working deals on in the bst, the 9.5 ended up being a better deal.

Im in the same wagon. i bought the 9.5 because I always played that. now I am wishing, wanting a 10.5
I think I'll probably have to go with a 10.5* too. I couldn't hit the 9.5* RFX past my 9.5* RAZR Fit TA. But when I tested the 10.5* RFX, it was easily longer by 15 or more yards. I guess with the RFX being such a low spinning head, I needed the extra loft to just toss the ball up there and then let it roll out.

Looking for some input...many are saying that the RFX is very low launch and low spin, any comparison numbers versus your previous gamers?

I wouldn't say it is a low launch head, more mid but with super low spin.

I launch mine at 16 degrees with about 1800rpm spin, about 300rpm less than my J40 430 driver in the same loft.

Thanks for the numbers.

Ok, so if you usually hit a 9.5 and use a mid launch shaft your FOR SURE need a 10.5 head. This worked out perfect for me with the AD Di 7S. Let me clarify, I would hit the 9.5 with the stock shaft but with an aftermarket shaft like the AD Di 7 that is a mid launch shaft, I needed the 10.5. The 9.5 MIGHT have worked with AD DI 6 but I do not feel the shaft would have changed the trajectory as much as going to the 10.5 did which is perfect now.

Ok, just checked Cally's website on the RFE. If you click on specs, the 6M3 Black Tie has been added, flexes regular and stiff
for both the driver and the fairways
wonder how much different this will be to the 7m3 for people. I really like the 7m3 but wouldn't mind trying the 6

FYI I started with an 8.5 and moved into a 9.5 head in the Xtreme. I wasn't getting enough carry which was hurting me especially in soft conditions.

I think a lot of guys get carried away with roll out distance. In the wet all you want is carry distance. I would rather hit a 9.5 with a 250 carry then play a 7.5 with a 210 carry that runs out to 260 if you get my gist. If you play course with real hard ground then the run out is great but if you are like me and play a variety in all conditions then the carry factor rules. Another optioon would be to open the face setting to O and take a degree of loft off or close it to gie you another degree if you haven't already played with those.

going to try a bimatrx shaft in my 10.5 next week

will report back on findings
I had the Lime BiMatrix in my 10.5 head at the range last week! Too bad my "range" right now is a dome, but in the 80yds I could watch the ball travel, it was straight! Hopefully I can get on a monitor soon and compare the PXv 6.0, DI-6, and BiMatrix to see what works best. I am actually worried that for me the BiMatrix won't spin enough and my ball will just fall out of the sky.

Looks like they are adding the Diamana D+ and S+ shafts to their selection. In fact when I ordered mine I found there was no upcharge for the D+72. I ordered a 10.5 RFE with MRC D+ 72X and GP whiteout black and white grip.
