Apart from England (where I live), the country in which I have played the most courses is France.

I would seriously not recommend a trip to Nigeria for golf, or anything else for that matter.

Sometimes these things hinge on how one defines a country. England, Wales, and Scotland . . . three or one? (I know how the residents of those places feel.) Anyway, 32 countries, 40 states, and 3 Canadian provinces. What's more, someone else was paying, most of the time. I was a USAF and airline pilot based in Europe and the Middle East for the first 20 years then flew long-range corporate airplanes for the next 25.

Only the good old USA but I have a trip to England coming up in a few months to visit a vendor. The vendor's rep is a golfer and his brother is a pro who is friends with Danny Willett. Think it's tacky to ask him to arrange a 4some?

 

I looked into playing in Japan and Taiwan but the cost was too expensive for me.

I am heading to Morocco tomorrow, though not to play golf. I was thinking however that I might try to sneak off for a round or maybe just 9 while in Marrakech if my wife will allow it and I can rent clubs. Does anyone who has played over there think that's worth doing? I've only played in four countries - US, Ireland, England, and Barbados - so that would at least allow me to add one to the list and would probably be a pretty different golfing experience.
